black man, i did not ask you to give me an explanation of the photo, however legitimate your explanations are. i asked you to offer an apology after being incorrect about the timing of the photo and characterizing my actions for posting it as being "hoe shyt" because you surmised that I was being intentionally deceitful, which, by the way, was an overreaction to something that is quite meaningless at the end of the day. and your reaction came right after it was revealed in this thread that the essence fest sought sponsorship from target after capitulating to the trump administration and ending it's dei program that ended its relationship with specifically *black women owned businesses. if anything, others could characterize your defense as being "hoe shyt" because you and everybody that attended did not demand the essence fest to rescind that sponsorship but I won't put that on you.
