Breh stop lying. How is that possible with her ruining her voice over the years?
I wouldn't lie to you, Lauryn was charging up like Goku. She performed well and she controlled her fukking band like a boss and even directing the sound. I was like "I thought when Lauryn performs it is a chaotic mess" The tidal performance solidified what I thought previously that Lauryn was scrutinized to such a large degree as a black female artist that she didn't have the same breathing room as other performers in the pop field.

let me put it to you this way, in terms of "ROCK performances" out there for comparison, Lauryn was on her A1 game especially with the ensemble she had. That could've ended in disaster with that many musicians. One odd thing was how she didn't hide her disapprovals or requests more from her band members or sound crew. There were tiny hiccups in sound technical difficulties here n there, but it didnt even register for the overall performance.

And there is no doubt that Lauryn is the queen of Hip Hop & Soul after this performance. The crown has been reinstated once again.
