Did Lavar tell any lies though?
That's a trick question.

No lies told because Lavar ain't on the court making decisions, he ain't the one about to be drafted to the professional league -- his son is.

I mean damn, is he taking over coaching duties, too? What team wants this kind of distraction?

Lavar about to be all up in some coach's business.

Here is the thing I wanna know...

Does anybody go and ask LONZO questions? I'm always seeing his pops in the headlines but I'm struggling to think when I saw or heard Lonzo speak at length BY HIMSELF about HIMSELF

ATL…overly
Please go to Philly or New York. Lonzo needs to go to a whole different coast to succeed. I just think LA is a bad move. sometimes you need to get away from your home state, family and friends.

:mjlol: at you thinking Lonzo is gonna escape from LaVar after getting drafted. I guarantee you Lavar will buy a second home in whichever city Lonzo gets drafted too and probably try to hit the road and bunk with him too. This is just the beginning breh

Man let Lavar run the BBB business back in California. Do not buy him a crib in New york. hell just buy a small 1 bedroom apartment so he can't crash.

LaVar Ball: 'I don't need no advice' from Kobe

LaVar Ball said he wouldn't seek any advice for his son Lonzo, a top NBA Draft prospect, from ex-Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant.

"I don't need no advice from Kobe Bryant," Ball said Thursday on "Mornings with Keyshawn Johnson" on ESPN Radio 710 LA. "I don't need advice from Kobe Bryant. 'Zo's got to play his game. Kobe Byant couldn't dribble or shoot like my boy. He never came close to shooting 50% in a season. If I ain't asking advice from better players like LeBron, Steph, and D. Wade, why would I ask Kobe?"

"If they're at practice and he sees something, and Lonzo listens to him or whatever, he's good. ... But it's just not, 'OK, I'm talking to Kobe, so now I'm going to be good.' If Kobe sees something that 'Zo is doing, then go from there. But I'm not trying to pattern after nobody. Kobe imitated Jordan his whole life. 'Zo is not trying to be no other man. 'Zo is 'Zo. And if 'Zo needs some advice on life, he can come to his father. Kobe didn't maintain that kind of relationship with his father, so he doesn't understand that kind of thing."

Bryant told ESPN that his desire to mentor younger players was spurred by pop star Michael Jackson, who told him during a visit to Neverland Ranch to reach out to all the greats in your profession and learn from them.

"I'm around for all the guys," Bryant told ESPN. "Anybody can reach out. It's an open book."

Bryant told ESPN that he's had "many conversations" during the playoffs with Boston Celtics star Isaiah Thomas -- just one of many current NBA stars who have reached out to him for advice.

Bryant said he also talks regularly with Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Gordon Hayward.

after reading this, it seems like he is GOD talking to his followers :russ:

Somebody sees it, :salute:, he's taking a page right out of the GOAT sports businessman IMHO, Floyd Mayweather. Make money by makin' 'em mad. :obama:

But Prettyboy Floyd ain't the same as Money Mayweather, and he's really putting a big ass target on his son's back before he ever played a second.
