But what would be the real difference between endorsing BBB and endorsing the other companies? The main complaints I see are that players are being exploited, companies aren't paying them their true worth, it's better to own your own instead of shilling for someone else, etc.

Why then encourage players to do the same thing just for a different company?

Cause at the end of the day Lavar/Lonzo/LaMelo will likely look out for their best interest first just like those in power at the big 3 do

If more people do it, then there won't be just 3-4 companies benefiting....More people will have their own brand, and their own supporters. Just like in anything else people buy. There's no limit on how many brands can be available. It's really that way now, but Nike, Addidas, Under Armour, etc is middle man between the people/their money and the players pockets. Players will look out for their own interests, and they should, because that's what everybody else is doing in this life on earth. Nobody is going to take care of you, so they should take care of themselves and their families.

But people should also be real and realize their is a history in this country of minorities being taken advantage of, and it will continue until minorities make moves to stop it.

Lonzo is worth 10000x more than Lavar. LaVar is the one taking the millions Lonzo will generate. LONZO is the money maker.

Lonzo and their high school playing style and being a top 2 pick is the reason this family has so much attention. It wasn't like he was going to get a Lebron rookie Nike contract anyways from Nike. He was going to get the same contract guys like Wiggins, Rose and Blake Griffin got.

Lavar building a brand that their family owns off Lonzo is no different that Lebron's crew building as sports agency and entertainment production company off Bron. Bron throws in the money but everybody else doing the day to day stuff.

As for risk, if you're going to be an entrepreneur there's going to be a level of risk involved. As it stands now if BBB takes off without any backing from Nike/Adidas that could result in an even more lucrative deal down the road.
