Lol wut? LiAngelo will be playing vastly superior competition than anyone in his class for 4 years. I swear people just write things to write things. Where ever they go, they'll be stars. This dude has already had a debate with Trump on prime time TV. Let's say they go to China. Do you know how much money they could make over there if things go well?

You're vastly underrating the level of talent playing overseas. Jeremy Tyler was a bigger prospect than both Melo and LiAngelo. He was ranked #1 PF in his class before he went to Israel. He got cut from his Israeli team, couldn't get playing time. He had to go to Japan to get playing time. Brandon Jennings only got to play 19 games in Italy (the season is 40 games, and he was healthy) and he was the #1 PG in his HS class. Teams overseas need you to contribute immediately, and if they don't show their worth immediately, they won't even play. These teams already have young domestic talent that they want to develop. Now they're bringing in two foreigners that need to develop. They will need to find a team that will actually play both guys, and be willing to develop them. That's going to be really hard.

Lamelo was being home schooled. This changes nothing

You can also hire tutors overseas if you want.

True, but my point is that it's hard enough to convince teams overseas to play developing talent. They already have their own young domestic talent, most leagues overseas only have two roster spots for foreigners, and owners will fire coaches and GMs very quickly if your team under-performs. Here are two guys that need to be developed, who have never been out of America, never played a single minute of competitive basketball as a pro and who carry a ton of baggage with them. Most leagues overseas have already signed their imports too. It's going to be very hard to find a team that will take both of them. I can see teams being intrigued by LaMelo, but LiAngelo already has a lot of baggage and he's not a top prospect like Melo - it's not worth their time to invest in him.

He is
More people know about lamelo ball than they did LeBron when he was in hs
Not true. Lebron was headline news on major news stations and ESPN in high school. Lamelo is a by product of Lavar. He is the most popular amongst kids though. And that’s based on aesthetic. Based on basketball impact, Jelly Fam is more popular.

They're spoiled suburban kids who drive around in expensive sports cars all day long. Are they even built for living/playing overseas:patrice:Lavar fukkin' they lives up:snoop:
Coli mentality meet reality:

1. Every NBA player you’re a fan of drives expensive sports cars and is a beast on the court.

2. When it cones to basketball these dudes are extremely serious, there is no correlation between where they were born, raised and what they drive and how well they can put a basketball in a basket.

Before twitter and instagram though

Lamelo has over a million followers and he's not even number 1 in his class.

Lamelo was on WWE raw in hs, games streamed on YouTube, his brother was the number 2 in the draft. His father has trended on twitter worldwide.

Iunno, its close. LeBron was very known in HS

:scust: How old are some of you dudes on this forum?
Y’all really saying LaMelo was more famous in High School than Lebron?
:gucci:

Exactly Bron was everywhere with NO youtube or anything that made seeing him easily accessible. Literally only social media around that time was Blackplanet and maybe Myspace and those didnt even support video how stuff is now. People didnt even have access to phones with Cameras like that until the mid 2000s.
