He didn't really say anything outrageous.

Basically he was trying to say that Kyrie needs to shut his mouth about whatever he thinks Lavar and Lonzo's relationship is because he didn't have the same family dynamic growing up.

Edit - let's be clear. Lavar did not say anything bad about Kyrie's mother or father. That Kyrie's mother died when he was young isn't relevant to the comments he made. It's just a side bar, and because people are such sensitive pussies, it's like "OMG, his mom died when he was 4...you're a horrible person". Lavar didn't say shyt about her except that Kyrie grew up without her and that changes the kind of family dynamic he had growing up. Who could possibly argue against that?

Not in the relevant aspects...basketball and transitioning to the league. That is what Kyrie was talking about and he's got more experience and knowledge in that regard than Lavar and he and Lonzo have quite a bit in common when it comes to that as well. The presence or lack thereof of Kyrie's mom is completely immaterial. Because of that fact and the fact that she is dead, it is indeed disrespectful. Lavar did what a lot of Coli nikkas and nikka in general do, which is go off on a tangent (that's not even a tangent, that's random as fukk actually) in order to deflect from things that they really have no substantive response to.
