Putting Sheamus front and center was the mistake. They briefly had promise but then Roman squashed them all and they become too jokey.
Barrett should've been the mouthpiece with Rusev as the monster and Del Rio getting a decent push as well with them playing up his training as a legit fighter. I think Del Rio is at his best when he's angry and no nonsense.

Sheamus 5:15 had life but then it was snuffed out before it even started, also he used to whoop their asses in 3 on 1, and 4 on 1 matches weekly. How can they have any credibility if that always happens.
