GKMC Kendrick is & will always be his best in terms of being an artist/rapper. Prior releases were way too unstructured & messy while anything after GKMC was way too experimental & reaching imho. In terms of pure hip hop GKMC was/is easily his best work (plus it was a top 10 album of all time easy...and I obviously don’t fck with him as hard as most, so that’s saying a lot)

Snoop had his freedom and more money than ever with No Limit but that don't mean the music was necessarily better.
On Doggfather Snoop's flow was all over the place and on 85% of the songs and most of the beats were just aight to flat out whatever
But when u compare Top Dogg, Tha Last Meal and Tha Doggfather to Doggystyle, they don't come anywhere close to being better than Doggystyle.
None of the songs on Top Dogg, Tha Last Meal and Doggfather are better than any of the songs on Doggystyle
Now this ain't to say it ain't some good songs on Top Dogg, Tha Last Meal and Tha Doggfather because there is, but collectively and song for song, none of those albums are better than Doggystyle.

Top Dogg, Tha Last Meal, & Doggfather were all too long IMO. If we cut the filler from each of those albums, shorten them.....those 3 are arguably classic/near classic LPs....still wouldn't be on par with Doggystyle, but they would come close.
