when it comes to electronics, i am not afraid to tinker and fix shyt on my own. but when it came to cars, i never even bothered. idk, im not a car person and i hate driving, but something was telling me to stop giving these fools money by changing my oil when i can do all that shyt on my own.

so last year, i went out and bought me a jack, some tools, oil pan, oil and a oil filter and i did that shyt within an hour. i didn't stop there, i learned to change my air filter, maintained my brake fluid and coolant levels and my car has been flawless:blessed:. last week one of my headlights went out, so i ordered new bulbs for my low beam, high beam and fog lights. i figure if you change one, might as well change em all. spent an hour this morning changing all 6 lights and now its brighter than a motherfukker.

all of this is due to the internet and how its so easy find solutions. it may not be significant to y'all but it was a great accomplishment for me:wow:. idk but im excited to change my brakes in the summer :lolbron:

Good job. I confess that I don't really use the internet to learn things. I'm trying to work on that.
the internet can be what you want it to be, man. i honestly would have never even bothered if i didn't watch some vids to see that shyt wasn't that complicated.

its just the greatest resource we have and people need to take advantage. ive done so many shyt by learning and fixing random shyt here and there in the house etc. i use to throw away vacuums once it stopped working. now when something doesn't work, i gets my macguyver on
great points. I like to read books on subjects, rather than research it on the internet, but I think I'm going to incorporate internet research into my studying.

Thanks man. My dad is like you where he would rather learn through books, but I just don't have the patience. I'm more of a hands on person so that's why the internet was more dependable to me. You can never have enough resources.

Yup. My homeboy built a small house in his backyard that he rents out to couchsurfers about a year ago. Fully furnished with fully functioning utilities. Built it on a trailer foundation, so whenever no one's renting it and he feels like traveling, he'll hitch it up make a trip from Houston to Portland.

Only used the internet, mainly just fukking YouTube.
