what? Obtaining a computer science degree exposes you to a variety of languages. He didn't say he was a guru in each listed.

Fam, I went to college and took 3 years of Java but you'll never hear me say I know Java.

Taking a course and knowing a language proficiently (and being a developer) is two totally different things. Based on the bullshyt he wrote in this thread, I don't believe shyt he's said.

The 'Coli Institute of Technology' thread (http://www.thecoli.com/threads/coli...ve-technical-collaboration-initiative.468191/) I made the other day flopped hard. I think trying to follow tutorials and shyt is boring as fukk. You learn faster getting involved in real world projects. Though it's kinda my fault though since c++ is a little too 'hardcore' for most people.

What language are you guys trying to learn?
I want to start with C# as I already have the visual whatever it's called for it.

Python? Right click a page on thecoli and click 'view source'. You're going to see HTML with a little Javascript thrown in there. Whereas most of the backend is done with PHP (maybe you got python confused with this).

Most websites are created on the front end by PHP, .NET or C# with HTML, JS and CSS presenting the content and it's styles.

:jbhmm:Digital animation is still tech tbh. And there's a lot of money in animation too

I more so ment IT by tech, you're def right tho. What im saying is by the time he graduates from college he could be pretty deep career wise in IT.

But dude is a no lie a super talented ass artist. The thing is he knows a fukk ton about pc hardware too, he told me one time he went to the IT department n asked the student workers advice on hardware, and he said he was surprised to find out he was shytting on all of them knowledge wise:dwillhuh:. And this nikka is in the art department
