Probably gonna be rented by 3 roommates

They will be living the BiG CiTY ExperieNCE.

A guy I knew moved to LA. My cousin went there for a small job, and since that guy was living in LA he asked to see him. The first day, dude set up a meeting in a strip club. The second day he set up the meeting in a bar. My cousin was like: 'man, instead of wasting money, let's go to your place so we can eat, drink and chill calmly"; Dude was like ":whoa:nah, my place is very strict when it comes to noise policy."

We discovered later that he was living in LA in a 2 bedroom appartment with 6 other cats. Rent too high. :francis:

Dude ended up leaving LA. :francis:

Its the same in nyc. You have 3 different couples in a 3 bed room apartment, paying 1500 EACH. How that is legal is crazy to me but whatever.

These yuppie cacs have killed the rent in nyc because they all shack up with each other. Cacs are so dirty its insane. Id die before id have a roomate, its a way of life for them.

Breh, I hate how people are normalizing shyt that they know they can't afford or keep up with to begin with. Its like just be real. It's like folks are afraid to admit that they aren't rich like a pride thing but are willing to front like they got it so they doing stupid shyt and lie about having money. These folks living for their ego. Don't know why. It's silly.

Folks need a place to live but they not willing to negotiate with these price setters even if it means not buying that shyt and letting them lower that shyt to what it SHOULD be. fukk that price gouging shyt. A whole lot of price gouging is going on where folks are overchargingand people are actually paying for it without questioning shyt. You can become a millionaire quick scamming people out here and nobody won't do shyt to you because people are used to spending without asking.

Those of y’all bringing up other parts of the country clearly don’t realize soon as too many people move there for the reasonable rent prices, that will make the prices there skyrocket too

That’s exactly what happened to Jersey, ATL and to some extent Miami

Prolly a few other places too, including NYC for that matter
Yep. It's happening in Houston, Austin, Dallas, and even Charlotte right now. Most new, if not all, apartments close to the core of the city getting built, you will be spending around 2k for a 1 bedroom. A friend sent me this about this new apartment that just opened up in Houston.
Montrose, Houston, TX Apartments | Luxury Apartments at The Sterling

In about five years, those studios will approach 1800k and those 1 bedrooms will approach 2500k.
