i want the sedan and I prefer just the g37 (non sport)
what do you consider low mileage? under 20k?

yeah anything around 20k-40k miles.

there's plenty of 2009-2012 G37 Journey Sedans in the $20k-$30k price range.

good thing is most of the later models with the low mileage will most likely have the balance of the remaining factory warranty.

so i just graduated college and got a decent job and i need a new vehicle because my current car is on its last legs brehs. I want something like an is250 or gs37 but I'm undecided on whether i should lease or finance. I do not mind getting used if the payments are lower and i actually prefer getting used avoiding the initial depreciation hit.

my only problem with leased vehicles is the mileage limit, I drive a lot so I know I will surpass the basic 10k a year limit. My question is, can I negotiate a higher mileage limit?

want something in the 18-25k range
used preferred
good mileage
quick
comfortable
decent/nice interior

infiniti g37 2011-current is nice
bmw 335 diesel

also, should I go to a private dealer versus an official dealer?

I'm gonna give you some good advice.

Since you just graduated and are about to start your career, aim a little lower for the time being. Cop something in the 10-12k range. Ride it out for two years. Give you career a chance to blossom. Make more money, save some money, buy a house, then get a nice car. I know, I know... you've been a college student eyeing a new whip for a while and you want it bad as fukk :noah:. But believe me, 2 years will fly by and you'll be in a much better financial position to purchase a luxury vehicle then.

Most graduate finance programs are for buying, not leasing. So you might want to take advantage of that and buy now.

I've done all 3. I bought new (G35 coupe back in 2003 when they first dropped), bought used (CLS63 AMG which was 2 1/2 years old when I bought it), and I've leased (Loaded Lexus GS350 F-Sport AWD).

I don't think I'll ever buy again. Used or new. Depreciation is a bytch. I was very very lucky with both my G35 and my CLS63. I was up 15k on my G35 when I sold it, since it was paid off. And I was up $12k on my CLS63 AMG AFTER the payoff on the loan. Lexus paid off the rest of my loan and cut me a $10,000 check for my CLS63. BUT I just watched my boy roll $10,000 of his upside down Maxima into a Honda Civic. This nikka is paying $350 a month for a Honda fukking Civic because he was upside down on the Maxima.

Plus I love cars way too much to be stuck with the same thing for more than 3 years.

Do your research on Edmunds.com. Every single car model has a leasing advice forum. That's how you get the best deals.

breh i've been waiting 4.5 years for a new whip :feedme:

my new job will require me driving a good amount from business to business so I need something with good mileage and also comfortable/fun to drive. is there anything in the 10-12k range that could even get me that? keep in mind I'm a bigger guy so a small car won't be helpful to me, thats why i drive

Some people can afford to and like having a new car every 24-36 months. In that case buying a car would be a bad move.

Breh, before you get a nice whip, do you have a nice spot? Or even you own spot period?

We're not doing the driving a luxury whip while living at home game, are we? :comeon:

Peace

So, Infiniti and BMW are on the same level as Toyota and Kia? Those are luxury brands, which is why people break their neck every month paying that note to keep theirs on the road. Not saying that's you....just saying those brands are not considered mid-grade or budget brands.

Good for you on having the proper order.

Peace

maybe because i live in los angeles...

a g35 or 3 series or c class (non amg) isn't anything to look twice at

but after thinking things over I'm probably just going to ride out my jeep until the wheels fall off while i stack my bread for something I want.

good looking @BlvdBrawler

with this saved money I can get even a BETTER place, which means more to me

100% completely agree with you. Most of the models you mentioned come with synthetic leather and plastic pieces. "Texas Leather" I believe Mercedes calls it. There's a reason they are "entry-level".

$40,000 can be spent elsewhere and you can get a lot more for your money with American. As long as you don't buy Cadillac (what a joke moving the entry-level CTS to mid-level and introducing that POS ATS)

It's not until you hit mid-level sedan range that you get to true luxury.

The G35 used to be a good value when it first dropped. Nothing was coming close to that coupe in terms of looks, power, value when it dropped in 2003. That's why I copped one. Definitely didn't consider it a luxury car at the time. Just a good looking sports car. Now it's way over priced.
