Brehs I'm looking to cop a leather jacket in a solid brown or black, no designs. I've never owned one before so tell me what to look for. I don't really give a shyt about brands, but want some quality that will last a while. What should I be looking to spend? I was surprised to see leathers on amazon for just above a hundred:jbhmm:

I'm not completely committed to buying online. I was just using Amazon and other websites to get a feel for the price range I could expect for a quality product, the type of jacket style I preferred, as well as to read reviews. That way I could be more knowledgeable in my purchase and avoid having to visit several brick and mortar location to look for the style I want and to try fit (even if I find do intend to buy online :jawalrus:). Was expecting to spend >$350 that's why I mentioned my surprise before.

But I hear you tho, the higher the price point the more I feel I should know the exact fit and quality of the leather through physical contact. As subjective as the recommendations might have been, it's clear I'm not gone get em here. Preciate the responses all the same :manny:

LL Bean has nice leathers. Check out the Wilsons leather too. Asos.com has a bunch. I never coped from them but they seem legit. If you want to be bold and more urban go with a pelle. Schott is would be my first choice though. It all depends on your budget and style

i bought a margiela 5 zip last year and i love it.

if you're spending 100 on a leather jacket you should just fold that shyt up and put it back in your wallet. leather is a definitely a "get what you pay for" thing. the absolute bottom you should even be looking at is 500-700 for a schott.
