Watched Part 1, if true it is extremely disturbing. I know this is a controversial subject but the two guys involved seemed believable. The way Michael slowly eased into the sexual abuse was standard pedophile game, gaining trust of parents, then slowly creating distance between the parents and the children. Just the idea of a grown ass man who is a millionaire hanging out and spending the night at a random kids house is fukking weird as shyt and I don't think it's something you can actually explain away.

People seem to have real problems believing it because of how much Michael Jackson meant to us growing up and how good his music is. How do you explain a grown ass man hanging out and befriending kids and having slumber parties at their house and sleeping in a bed with thyem? I believe McCauley and Feldman when they said MJ never touched them, but maybe he just didn't think he could get away with it with them. There are a lot of talented artists that were fukked up people. and MJ was likely abused himself. The issue at the end of the day is there is no proof. They however have plenty of footage of these two boys with MJ so their relationship was absolutely real. They weren't paid to do the documentary. Seems strange that someone would completely fabricate them being sexually abused for no money but it's possible.

This documentary is textbook child abuse documentary.

Man takes interest in a child.
Befriends child.
Parents think is good for the kid.
Sexual stuff happens.
Yeah, that's what stood out to me, their stories were just plain believable based on the MOs' of pedophiles and how they operate but I also don't want this thread to be controversial or to start any fights, I'm curious what people thought who have seen it. There is no proof of the crimes but we know the relationship between the boys and MJ is real based on all the footage and pictures. I mean if Bryan Singer did this shyt we'd have no problem believing it to be true. I think MJ's musical accomplishments really make it difficult for us to accept that there was a part of him doing monstrous things.

To me, it's like this. I know for a fact Michael Jackson was a pedophile, that he loved young boys. No normal straight man is faxing love letters to children. He most likely molested the boys.

Michael Jackson created a cult of eternal boyhood and had excuses for anything. He wanted to be around children because everyone was mean. He wanted an amusement park in his backyard because he can't go out in public. He has boys as friends because he never experienced boyhood. Just a lot of immaturity and sheer unreality. Then we, the public, allowed it to go on because he made Thriller. Then when he reached peak dangling a baby out of a window weirdness, he was mocked for it.

People just need to admit that they let talented people get away with being uncivilized and walk all over social norms. You let these people use all types of psychological tricks. Like, "Oh I am just innocent." What innocent person can make a song like Dirty Diana or Keep It In the Closet? Michael obviously knows what sex is, especially forbidden sex. He wasn't some ignorant manchild. The man grabbed his crotch and pelvis thrusted for a living, he understood sex. He just made you think he is innocent because it protected him from his weirdness and perversions.

In civilized society, you don't get to make an amusement park in your backyard and invite children over. In civilized society, you don't have sleepovers with young boys. In civilized society people tell you that you are fukked up and don't try to understand perversions as non-perversions. You know many men did not have a childhood? Lots of them, my father was one of them, you know what he does, play video games. He don't hang out with boys.

When Michael Jackson went on primetime TV and said there is nothing wrong with sharing your bed with a child and didn't even try to make that statement seem normal, I was convinced. You can't hide your sickness from the world forever. He was holding hands with boys while doing that Martin Barshar doc and he just got off a case. I was convinced. If I was accused of child molestation and I just got off with a civil suit, you wouldn't see me around children.

Just like when R.Kelly was asked if he liked teenage girls. He didn't try to say he doesn't like teenage girls. He didn't deny it, he just had a scale. 30 plus year old man, on live TV, talking about he like teenage girls.

We as a society need to stop letting these rich and famous people subvert acceptable behavior because they entertain us. Yeah, you can be greatest entertainer in the world, but you ain't gonna convince me, subvert all common sense, that you are not a pedophile when you boldly state there is nothing wrong with sharing your bed with a kid or having sleepovers and you are 35 plus years old.

These parents of these children should be ashamed of themselves. They are victims too but how in the fukk you really think a grown ass man that got interested in a 10 year old, telling your child that he loves him, has good intentions? What grown man loves a child he not related too in anyway? Michael Jackson going around the world as the most desirable man alive and in his hotel room, he don't got women, he got your kid with him.

What do we need, a tape of a sex act?
When as a society we gonna protect the vulnerable for the wealthy and predatory?

well said breh. it's amazing the benefit of the doubt you can get when you create something so many people love. I know damn well equally horrible shyt had to have happened to Michael at a young age, but it doesn't excuse anything he did. The man needed fukking propofol to sleep and ephedrine to wake up in the morning. Michael telling the mom that people were going to think something was going on even though there supposedly wasn't according to him. It doesn't make me enjoy his music any less, I've had to learn to separate the artist from who they are as people.

I’m not going to comment on his innocence or guilt (I don’t think the doc is going to change minds on either side).

What I thought was interesting were the mixed emotions the two men had. They said MJ molested them, but still felt very sad when he died, and they both seemed to truly love him, despite what they alleged. I’m interested in psychology, so this interplay is fascinating to me. I thought that was the best part of the doc, and it is where it truly shines. Like, that interplay between negative and positive emotions is very intriguing. I’d like to see it explored elsewhere. :ehh:
