This age or generation. IDK or care, but I do know im sick of this bullshyt. I grew up with fukking stone cold flipping off his boss, stomping nikkas out, and drinking beers. I grew up with these hits:
You could throw hands in the NBA without some fukking soft bullshyt:
You could shyt on the media:
shyt, you could bury fakkits on live tv:

This soft ass generation bruh, SAS got suspended and no one can tell you exactly why :dead:
Lebatard got two days for a billboard that said thanks? :what:
The hardest nikka in wrestling is:

Theres no edge anymore; how the hell did gays and women take over sports? How the hell is that even possible whens the last time you seen a knowledgeable female in anything? Michael Sam is trash I shouldn't even know his fukking name. Cant even watch a tv show without a fakkit being in a prominent role. You cant even hit a QB anymore man, whats the point.

This shyt is frustrating and I sound :flabbynsick: but I just want the gritty times I remember :to:

Real shyt Mook

He got suspended for the billboards? Got damn this age is soft...when I read stuff like this it feels like a damn twilight zone or something, how the hell did we get to this point

Isn't it obvious how we got to this point? Children nowadays are coddled beyond reason in virtually every aspect of their existences. Instead of learning valuable life lessons through hardship and failures, they are "protected" to the detriment of society as a whole.

When I fukked up or talked back to my parents, I came to expect a swift and thorough beat-down as a result, whereas today children have the audacity to call DYFS on their own mothers and fathers for rightfully keeping them in check. Corporal punishment goes a long way towards teaching you respect for others.

Teachers had the ability to actually discipline me if I was out of line; nowadays, administrators always side with the kids/parents for fear of lawsuits. If someone was bullying me, I learned to stand up for and defend myself if I wanted it to stop. Instead, schools now have ridiculous "anti-bullying" campaigns that all staff members must be well-versed in and that students are made to adhere to, as if an endless amount of red tape and paperwork would actually prevent children from acting like children.

If my team lost in a basketball tournament, I didn't get a participation trophy. The coach wasn't forced to play each kid equal amounts of minutes irrespective of the talent distribution. There was no "mercy rule". Instead, I learned to accept that in life you take a lot of Ls (some worse than others) and that you should always strive for personal growth and improvement if you want to be the best.

The ubiquitous presence of social media outlets only serves to further coddle today's children. They have an inflated sense of self-worth and importance because everyone "likes" their meaningless status updates and their legions of "followers" confirm as such. They latch on to legitimate causes in the least tangible way, such as changing a profile picture to a certain color to represent a cause. Somehow, this transparent gesture is more valuable than physically volunteering and donating time/money. As such, they don't learn how to effect positive change upon society.

When children growing up never experiencing hardships or learning about the consequences of their actions, they invariably remain in a state of arrested development, incapable of handling all of the unavoidable difficulties that come along with life. As a result, they take offense and break down at the slightest amount of imperfection in their otherwise perfect existences, and the results are what we see today.

lol Lebron is about to be 30. Why are people in this thread complaining about "today's children" being coddled. What is this thread even about...
