Same as obsessing over triple-doubles. It's slightly indicative of something or other but really it's pretty random and has no actual value. Whether he had 10 or 9 in some shytty game halfway through the streak isn't meaningful just like a 19-10-10 stat line isn't somehow magically better than 28-9-12.
If he had injured his groin in the 1st quarter against GSW instead of the 3rd quarter he would have broken his streak....so it doesn't really prove anything at all.

Pretty much every stat you see in all the major sports are for the regular season. If there is a stat that includes the playoffs it will be called out separately.
Nah you're stupid a streak is all games. Playoff games count if it's a streak.
