shooting form has nothing to do with skill. lebron puts the ball in the hoop 55-60% of the time while averaging well over 25 points per game. hate to break it to you, but that takes skill.

Shaq did too.

Shaq averaged more career points than Hakeem and Tim Duncan. No one would compare Shaq's skill to either of them though........NO ONE:demonic:

You're riding with and dapping up a dude that claimed this man has "fair" court vision.

I cant see youtube links....Im at work and the office locked it down:to:

LeBron has GREAT court vision. You know not everything you dap means you agree with the entire post. LeBron has great vision and one of the greatest anticipators with the ball I've ever witnessed:ohlawd:

did shaq shoot 40% from three point range too?:shaq:

I said LeBron has a decent jumper that he developed over the years. I dont think he's a bad shooter at all........but what kinda elite perimeter play cant shoot though? That's where he plays.

He's the Shaq of the perimeter. When I think of skillful perimeter players, I think of Jordan, Kobe, even prime Wade. LeBron isnt as skilled as they are, but he uses what he has to his fullest abilities to dominate.

Word, nobody would compare Shaq to Hakeem, so you know more than the late and great Pete Newell?

"People think it's all power with Shaq, but they're wrong," says 86-year-old Pete Newell, the big-man guru who coached against Wilt and who schooled Shaq at his offseason camp in the early '90s. "Here's what I've seen [O'Neal] do in one game: Bank off the glass. Little lob hook in the paint. Step-back move on the baseline. Quick spin move when he comes out on the other side to shoot. And a neat step-through move when he was doubled or tripled. You go over the history of centers and can you remember anyone, except maybe Hakeem Olajuwon, showing all that? And Hakeem didn't have the power game. I don't like to rate players according to who's best, but none of the great centers had Shaq's moves and counters, and none of them, including Wilt, had his strength."

He taught/coached Hakeem and Shaq at his big man camp, which was the preeminent camp that has a laundry list of HOF bigs. He directly compared Shaq to Hakeem, what made Shaq unstoppable wasn't just his size, if that were the case why didn't Priest Lauderdale dominate the league. Shaq was a combination of size, SKILL and athleticism, just like Bron is a combination of size, SKILL and athleticism, if skill weren't the case why isn't James Johnson out here lightweight shytting on nikkas?

Sounds like he was referencing "Orlando" Shaq when he WAS agile at 7'1 300lbs

Los Angeles, 7'1 390lbs Shaq was all power and brute strength.

However, that quote didnt compare Hakeem and Shaq. It said that Shaq could so some moves, however he did not have the same skill level/footwork/technique that Hakeem had.

If you watch the film, dude's turnovers don't be from katz pressin' into his dribble and takin' it. They come from him just throwing the ball to.....I don't know where for a pass. It's like he be tryna throw it to me or somethin' and he turns it over a lot. All this despite being so tall that he can see over nearly everything including double-teams.

funny you should name jordan and wade as skillful perimeter players, because lebron is a MUCH better three-point shooter than both of them. shyt him and kobe shoot about the same from downtown over their careers, too.

No, the quote is from 2002 :stopitslime:

Breh, you're coming off really Tea Party-ish right now, the quote clearly said what other center other than Hakeem showed all the moves Shaq had, a direct comparison to Hakeem :birdman:

Prime Wade had a much more consistent jumper and better post game than LeBron. He was also a great passer, rebounder, was very good defensively, extremely athletic, with dribbling abilities as well.

I dont even know why you're asking that breh:heh:

What does skill have to do with 3 point shooting:dead:

Is Steve Kerr a skillful PG because he was a great 3 pt shooter?:dahell:
