obviously not. you get haters/dislikers for two reasons. #1 if you doing it right but you aint that persons' favorite whatever.
or #2 you aint really doing it right but the media is hyping you up as if you are the greatest thing since peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
remember "THE STREAK"
remember all the espn hype "are lebrons heat as good as mj's bulls? are the heat better then these other great teams from the past."
fools cosigning on TV. "i think the heat are as good or better then Great Team X from the past."
now they had to struggle with the pacers to get out. lol. the heat are lucky enough to be in an era of watered down teams. its not their fault. but its a reality. its like a boxer being a champion in a watered down era of boxing. its not his fault. he can only knock out who you put in front of him. but because of that, you cant over rate the guy due to his stats and say he's as good as a great of the past that had to go thru much stiffer competition in order to win.
none of that changes the fact that he's still a great player in his own time and in his own right. he'll still go down as one of the greatest. not sure he'll make it to the mountain top, but he's on the mountain. and he's one of the most dominant players ever by any measure. media hype and meaningless stat manipulation won't change that.
you can be mad that the media hypes him up. it's true. be mad that people look at his stats and attempt to compare him to players of a different generation when the game was very different. be mad that he's called king. be mad that we're witnessing his accomplishments. be mad about the decision. just be mad.
