Doesn't change the fact that James is a ring chaser that had the worst Finals showin' of any superstar or star for that matter in NBA history, he's bytchmade, the A-Rod of basketball.

I dont understand how he's even in this thread acting like, amongst players with equal skill level, rings are not important.......but Heat stans in the other thread are laughing at the prospect of Carmelo never winning a ring:lupe:

Kobe Bryant. :russ:

That ship has been sailed, breh.

Kobe. :laff: :laff: :laff:

Might as well say Vince Carter or Harold Minor. :mjpls:

Lets put it like this, Bron only went to Moami to get 1 of what Kobe has 5 of, great players play the game for rings. And if you can't respect Kobe having 5 your whole perspective is wack, which it is anyways. In the real basketball world, having 5 rings is just ALOT better than 1, it's not even close. Jordan himself said Kobe over LeBron for that reason. It's not rocket science. And comparing Kobe to Vince makes you look like a casual fan/dumb-ass. I'm done talking sports with you, don't even bother replying.

Breh, serious question. Why are we talking about Kobe Bryant? :heh:

LeBron is the future GOAT, Kobe is debatable top 10. I could see if you were talking about Jordan, the only player who can be mentioned in the same breath as LeBron right now. But Kobe?

You live in a fantasy world, breh.

Why are nikkas still comparing Kobe to Lebron? Lebron scores similar points on less shots, is more efficient, passes better, is a better playmaker, better rebounder, and a perrenial DPOTY candidate despite being a perimeter defender.

Lebron also performs better in the playoffs, has more historic playoff games, and has hit just as many game winners in the playoffs as Kobe despite taking 10 less shots.

When they both had crap teams and little help, Lebron performed better than Kobe. Lebron has almost as many FMVPs as Kobe. Lebron is more consistently dominant than Kobe is. People forget that Lebron was winning scoring championships in Cleveland and easily averaging 30 a game, on better efficiency than Kobe ever did, but he realized that it wasn't conducive to winning basketball.

People don't realize that Lebron would be just fine, scoring 20 points on 9 attempts, dishing out 14 assists, grabbing 13 rebounds, and setting up his team. He scores as the team needs. Lebron's basic mindset is more Magic than Jordan but people seem to forget that Lebron CAN turn on his killer mindset if he needs to. Look at what he did against Detroit, 2009 in CLE, 2012 against the Celtics and Pacers, etc.

Lebron had one AWFUL finals and people forget that he was shutting down Rose in the 4th Q, leading a comeback against the Bulls, crushing the Celtics, and stuff before that.

Simply put, Kobe is probably the most versatile scorer of all time and he's probably the GOAT at making difficult or contested shots. When Kobe is feeling it, he's pretty much the most absurd looking scorer of all time. But that comes at a price, Kobe can shoot you out of a game and he's usually not nearly as effective if he'a not scoring. Not only that but, due to his style of play, he's never gonna be very efficient.

Lebron is more consistently dominant, is a far more versatile player, and he's just as effective at scoring the ball as Kobe even of he's not as skilled because he's a better slasher/finisher/paint player than Kobe and he's pretty much impossible to stop due to his athletic ability. So Lebron scored just as many points as Kobe, on less attemps, while being better at EVERY other aspect of basketball.

Pick Kobe's best season ever and ask if it compares to...

29.7 PTS on 50.3% shooting, 8.6 AST, and 7.3 REB because that Lebron's 3rd best season.
26.7 PTS on 56% shooting, 7.3 AST, and 8 REB...

Oh, you wanna talk playoff performances?

29.1 PTS on 50.1% shooting, 9 REB, and 7.6 AST was Lebron in 09.
30 PTS on 50% shooting, 9.7 REB, and 5.6 AST in 2012.

What season is Kobe more impressive than that?

Bron fans watch box scores while we watch the games :manny:

I just think Kobe was much better at his best when I watched. If ur talkin just stat lines then Bron got even Mike beat. But most people don't judge greatness by box scores. They judge it by what they see. If box scores only mattered then Peyton Manning would be the GOAT QB instead of Joe Montana. And Wilt would be the GOAT basketball player instead of MJ.

Then why is Tim Duncan considered better than Karl Malone?

Why is Hakeem Olajuwon considered better than Patrick Ewing?

What makes Bill Russell considered different from Wilt Chamberlain?

Championships. The ability to LEAD your team to the pinnacle of the sport.
So its Lebron's fault he couldn't lead his shytty team to a championship... :russ:

Duncan, Hakeem, and Russell aren't just considered greats because of rings. Neither one of them had shytty teams. It takes more than 1 person to win a ring.

Compare their 2nd and 3rd options to Lebron's on Cavs.

Notice something?
