No, it's actually a great move.

In today s era there no Robinson, ewing, Shaw, hakerm, no true center to speak of that are dominant with height size and skill, so he'll be fine
It is a good move, if only for the simple fact that Tristan is worthless on offense. And of course it allows them to bring in another player [Crowder] who can stretch the floor and guard wings/stretch bigs, and pulls Love's opposite out of the paint. However, Love's not going to be fine because there's no true centers - that is absolute nonsense, not only is there a ton of talented big men in the game, but Love also has to protect the rim against EVERY position, and he has to guard the PnR too.

He's going to have to fulfill a number of roles on defense, not just guard his opposite. If you think he'll be fine acting as a defensive anchor - I have a bridge to sell you.

love will have an easier time guarding centers than he will against more mobile 4's. As far as paint protection, even with Tristan in, the cavs were not great at guarding at the rim. With the newer lineups, they're banking on having better perimeter D which shouldn't allow as many free/easy trips to the rim like last year or anytime the last 3 years when Delly wasn't guarding PG's.

Lezbehonest tho:yeshrug: Lue is used to being disrespected and stepped over:aicmon:
Lue would be an Assistant Coach for 10 more years if it wasn't for LeGM.... y'all don't notice the old azz Assistant Coaches on some teams...?

Not taking anything away from his coaching during the NBA Finals vs Warriors when they came back, that was tight but a lot of that was also LeGm.

Facts only.

durant will dunk on him 5 times a game...

if it wasnt for how deep they are.. ie ven think celtic would have taken them...he is the kind of center Kyrie feasts on.

I can't wait for post-Lebron Cavs. There's going to be almost no organization there and will need a complete reboot because of they let Lebron run things.

Could it go worse than what they looked like when he wasn't running things? :mjlol:

Lebron wasn't coach/GM the first time around, and Cavs pulled three of the next four #1 pics after he left and didn't make a single plus move in four years. :mjlol:

Its not about that! He is going to find his self being in foul trouble faster or having to defend the rim against fast guards and physical wing men who are going to challenge him at the rim. He is always injury prone, so this is a cause for concern because this is going to make him put alot of strain on his body now having to protect the paint or switch at the right time. It's going to effect him more on defensive side then on the offensive side.
