Yet another faulty premise. Did Bron go out like a bytch in the 2011 Finals? Yes. Was he looking :patrice: against SA last year? Yes. Did Kobe look any better against PHX, DET, BOS? (his squad was heavily favored against DET and favored against BOS like that matters but still people like to bring it up when it suit there agenda and they were up 3-1 against PHX)

The reality is that Bron and Kobe have a comparable amount of 40 pt playoff games (with one guy playing 7 fewer years), Bron has better elimination game numbers, and he's been asked to do what Kobe does and more in the course of winning his two rings. Kobe's rep as this assassin, killer, ice water in his veins type nikka is based on winning rings early and the confidence that he projects. While Bron's rep as a choker or a guy who wilts under pressure is based upon him not winning rings early and him biting his nails.

My biggest issue with this debate is the level of shifting that goes on. All these people :pacspit: at efficiency yet I recall Team Kobe being the main ones going on and on about AI's FG% back in the day when AI was outscoring Kobe and winning scoring titles but shooting 40% and below. I remember people saying it was unfair to hold Shaq against Kobe (even though Kobe dikksucking started that whole issue) but now they wanna hold up Fred Sanford Wade and Chris "Spot up 3 pt shooter avg. less rebounds than Lebron" Bosh against Lebron. :dead: When Bron doesn't lead his team in damn near every statistical category throughout the entire playoffs then maybe we can have that discussion about teammates. People go on and on about Bron's size advantage. He's what...2, 3 inches taller and 40-60 lbs heavier. Kobe is 6 inches taller and 40-60 lbs heavier than AI. AI avg. more points and assists for his career as well. Only area Kobe has him in is FG% and Reb but those don't count since Kobe is bigger right? :troll: Size matters in this game and the reality is many of the greats wouldn't be as great if they weren't the size that they were, including Kobe.

*looks forward to misinterpretation, baseless insults, digression, semantic bs or this just being ignored altogether rather than an actual thoughtful reasoned response*

Here ya go on your BS again:ufdup:

You throw out blind stats about:

But yet, you tell me earlier in this thread that basketball is to be taken into context:rudy:

I wonder why a guy who averaged 21 shots per game over his career averaged more points per game than a guy who took 2 less shots per game over his?:camby:

Well done sir. :myman:

I trust that you have stronger comprehension skills than this and that the Kobe back and forth just has you out of sorts. You really think I was saying AI was better? :patrice:

I should have added "ignoring the overriding purpose behind my post and focusing in a small, pretty much insignificant detail to quibble over" as well. :damn:

1. You're title was debunked already, another poster and I posted numbers of 30-7-6-2 and that right there proves you wrong, you just don't want to accept it.:banderas:

2. I thought we were having a healthy debate, why you gotta call me a faqqit breh? :umad:

3. You obviously don't know basketball like you think. This thread proves that your a little fukking kid trying to get attention BUT you get mad when everyone doesnt consign your bytchass, as you can see by your response.

4. 2.5? Efficiency? Proud? Maaaaaaaaan shut the fukk up:pachaha:

1. Uhhh no. Kobe scored 30 PPG on 45% shooting. Lebron's career average is 27.5 PPG on 50%. That's pretty much even. Kobe scored about more basket on 3 more attempts.

Kobe averaged 5.9 AST (3.5 TOV) and 6.9 REB that season. Bron averaged 6.9 AST (3.3 TOV) and 7.2 REB.

Kobe's season isn't as good. He scored a whopping 2 more points on 3 less attempts and is worse than Lebron in most everything else. Efficiency matters

Keep throwing negs, fakkit.

"we" being the people (not you) who discredit lebron because he plays in the east. SHould've been more clear.

So people like can't stop, swagnificent, etc..

Well they're wrong for thinking that way:manny:

LeBron's stats cant be used against him, because if so, we might as well discredit all the players who played in the Western Conference from the late 80s to mid 90s.....when they were significantly weaker than the East.

For all Jordan's so called efficiency his best scoring season and Kobe's are pretty close. Efficiency is bs. Statistically Larry Jo Bird puts up better numbers than Lebron without the so called athleticism . But we gonna ignore that right? We penalize Kobe for having crazy numbers with Shaquille even though his numbers got better after Shaquille but we praise LeBron for his numbers improving while playing on a super team. Kobe is better than LeBron. Deal with it.

I am not denying Bird but, again, the 80s had a much higher pace than the league has had almost ever. To give an example, those 84 Celtics attempted almost a 1,000 more FGA than the 12-13 Heat did. The fasted paced team in the league today would be the slowest in the 80s. I think Bird is great but the reason I'm comparing Kobe and Bron because they played in a very similar era with similar pace.

And pick any of Kobe's 3-4 best seasons, with Shaq or without him, and see how good it is. Lebron's best seasons as a Cav are better than Kobe's best seasons without Shaq.
