One of the greatest rappers of all time but no one talks about Nas in real life. He'll get more pub by having bron and Westbrook in his video than he's had in a minute.

Is that so….
With the release of King’s Disease II writer Miles Marshall Lewis catches up with rap mogul Nas, who talks building generational wealth through his business empire, leaving an artistic legacy, and remaining steady through the one constant in this game: change.
NAS • EBONY
I'm 35 years old. Nas is a good rapper. But I think to pretend he has the mainstream relevancy of someone like Jay or Kanye or Drake doesn't align with reality to me. He's a good rapper. People who know, know. Him being as successful as he is and continuing to be successful is a testament to his music and not bs hype. Just my opinion.
Dude how old are you??
Everyone talks about dude...the highs/lows, these back to back great albums at his age...
Dude is still one of if not the greatest ever!!
Talking with a younger cousin, she's 30 and loves Drake to death..said "I exclude Nas because he's that great, I believe anything he raps about"
Good for Nas but I guess my argument would be a magazine like Ebony isn't necessarily reflective of "real life". Circulation is likely at the lowest it's ever been. They just filed bankruptcy last year.
Nas has been an incredible rapper. He's not part of the daily discourse or barbershop fodder. I'm not making a judgement about this either way.
He's a good rapper.

Respectfully disagree.I mean in “real life” he won his first Grammy this year and his latest album debuted at number 3 on Billboard 200 and Number 1 on the Rap/R&B Charts. If he wasn’t part of the real world conversation he wouldn’t still be charting as high, winning awards, getting high end endorsements, etc
None of this has to do with anything I'm saying. Not disputing Nas' talent. The bit about Common, Jada, etc. is you arguing with yourself.Nobody would ever in real life say "Nas is good rapper"
He fukkin great and probably the Greatest rapper.
And the guys you mentioned look up and admire dude..even Jay who's older than him..
Before the beef and after the beef, Jay has asked dude to be on multiple songs and concert/videos..
This misconception that Nas is Common, Jada, Lupe, Cam,, etc..is greatly exaggerated..
Dude is on another level literally, musically, financially etc..and is as highly respected as it gets!!
