The thing with Bronny is that he is nullifying the argument that used to exist about "players not being good enough for the NBA." He was an average HS player, a below average college player (prob really a low level D2 player), and by EVERYONE'S assessment, not an "NBA caliber player with NBA level skill". His stats in HS and college showed that. But he has shown that anyone with the smallest amount of basketball skill, given the opportunity to develop and play, and given some time, and all of the resources the NBA affords, can work into an NBA rotational player. What everyone can commend Bronny on is taking advantage of the opportunity (regardless of how it was acquired - it is what it is), and working to get better. This means that he is studying, practicing, listening and learning, and growing into a better player.
This means that they can no longer use that excuse as to why guys aren't getting any burn, no longer use it as to why they didn't draft or aren't playing a talented player. They can pretty much do it with anyone. We know it won't happen, but more people should be given these opportunities as well. Y'all opened this door. Let the rest go through.
