He lacks take over ability in big moments, especially down the stretch in the last 5 minutes of the game.

The bulk of his points come from bully ball around the rim, transition, and open 3's. This is great and a highly efficient way to produce points yet the problem is that during the last minutes of the game these opportunities dry up, and without a reliable midrange game that he has confidence in, LeBron struggles to take over in these situations.

It's a huge hole in his game that gets overlooked because tons of people don't even watch the games anymore, they just read espn and twitter and get stat lines or whatever and see that LeBron scored 25+ points and assumed he did well. The other half of the story doesn't get shown when LeBron is forced to defer to his teammates in the most crucial late game situations. If LeBron was the best he would not have this problem. You can't be the greatest player of all time when you don't consistently take over big games in the Final minutes. That is what Jordan was famous for. He made his legend by consistently taking over games in the final 5 minutes. Both on the offensive AND defensive end. Which is something LeBron just doesn't do. LeBron is a great player and a borderline top 10 ATG but nothing higher. His game has too many holes in it to be put any higher.

LeBron will go down as a Top-10 player of all time.

But, he cannot be considered the GOAT.

As the OP mentioned, LeBron has come up small too many times when it mattered most.

I've seen Wade, Ray Allen, Kyrie and others step up in crucial situations to carry the weight when LeBron has come up small.

I'm talking about moments in which LeBron could have cemented his case for GOAT.

Playoff games under 15 points:

Lebron=6

MJ=0

Jordan the only player in history who can say that, as well as scoring over 20 in every finals game.

MJ=GOAT

Like last year when he came back against a 73 win team after going down 3-1 with comeback game averages of 38/11/9 with multiple 40 point games and 2 of the top 3 PERS in finals history, and a game saving clutch block? :dwillhuh:

:ufdup:"Never Forget"

8 points, lost a 2-1 series lead, and lose the ship on ur home court too. Media wanna act like it didn't happen but you can't erase that. Or gettin washed in 2014 and actin like the end was comin cuz you had leg cramps.
