After returning to the United States, Grover went with Bryant to Los Angeles, when Wade requested he come to Miami.

With Bryant’s permission, Grover flew to Miami on Sunday night and is scheduled to stay a few days to work on Wade’s body and mind.

it boggles my mind now thinking about how much hate Bron got....for you know actually waiting for his contract to be over and leaving as a FREE agent.......he didn't bytch to ownership(Kobe)........he didn't demand trades and say he will only sign with certain teams(Dwight)....he didn't tell them "hey you guys got one year to trade me"(Melo)

he signed for 6 years and play his ass off till his contract was done

i salute you Lebron James for not only being the best player alive but being a great human being

No, he just led Cleveland along until the very last second :rudy:

Bron went through this whole, "I want to test the market" phase which was really ambigious & made Cleveland believe that they still had a chance resigning him. Almost like a girl leading her boyfriend to believe that they can still work things out, when she actually already got a new nikka on deck :leon: So they saddled themselves up with bad contracts for players that were only there to suit Bron's playing style. No long term utility. Which is why Dan Gilbert caught feelings like a little hoe when he really did leave :why: If Bron was honest about it "I'm leaving muthafukka" :pacspit: Cleveland wouldn't have fukked themselves over, did a S/T & atleast got something valuable in return. But no....Bron didn't want to come out & tell the world he was leaving Cleveland for fear of media backlash. At least Melo, Chris Paul & Howard gave their teams that courtesy :jawalrus:

Stop comparing Lebron's situation to Kobe's. Lebron left. Kobe didn't. That's the point at the end of the day. You think Cleveland would've cared if Bron bytched to radio & ESPN, then stayed? :rudy:

May 27th, 2007 - Kobe demands trade
May 30th, 2007 - Kobe retracts trade demands
Feb 1st, 2008 - Pau comes to town

That's a long ass time in between. 9 months of hoping the GM really listened to you.

Kobe gets Lebron his first gold medal after only getting a bronze.

Kobe encourages Bron to be a killer in the ASG and Bron goes in a tear and wins a ring and MVPs.

Kobe made it possible for Bron to leave HS and be a superstar.

Bron had Kobe posters plastered in the walls of wherever he lived while growing up.

Players COME to play WITH Kobe, while Bron GOES to play with other players.

And this is the thanks Kobe gets? Heat/Bron fans are so ungrateful after Bron FINALLY gets his ring. You will regret this, just like in 2007.....
So that means KG showed Kobe?

That's a whole lot of typing to not say much

What were they gonna get valuable in return once Bron said Miami?

They were offered Beasley in the S&T and didn't want him. That was basically it.
