Lebron isn't trying to risk his back and pockets. This is business; Lebron wants your talent and fan base, not your friendship or to help you when you're down.
Sounds like a typical GM to me
On a similar note:
Lebron remembers how some people
treated him when he signed with the Heat;
He read the comments.
He saw jersey burning.
He noticed that some fans acted like they owned himversus fans that we're simply hurt that their 'hometown boy' moved on with little notice.
He noticed the different reactions of some people between his 2010 decision, and the city of Cleveland's 2015 decision to let Tamir Rice's murderer off with no consequence.
Lebron knows what's up.
He realizes he can't outright say and do everything he knows is right, but he knows what's up
