I just noticed it last season, he can be a monster on defense at times.

and yeah, thats one of the things I noticed watching the game. Lebron wasn't getting those easy drives and finishes that he could against the eastern conference teams that had no one to big enough or long enough

before he got injured he was the best player this season. just wasn't being noticed. especially with the numbers russ and harden were putting up without the help

Two things no one talks about:

Double/triple team James when he goes in the paint. he passes or gets blocked/stripped. Lebron can't handle physical adversity. GSW did this game 1, Boston did this in game 4 and then stopped doing it in the second half. I couldn't believe they went away from that. If he passes, he's passing to Korver who isn't hitting, or Love who can only hit in the first half to front run. I swear, if Zaza just went for the foul when Lebron goes for a dunk, I mean just collided with him, Lebron would stay away from dunking when anyone is in the vicinity.

Lebron doesn't play defense except chase down blocks. He was not guarding KD he was watching from a distance and expecting someone else to pick up the slack. How many times was he hedging another shooter and KD? He wasn't playing honest D and it hurt them bad. If the Cavs want to win Lebron has to body KD and he has to get to create his own shot getting to the rack.

I think LeGM knows that he can't get in foul trouble, so he plays off. Not that he can really stop Durant 1-1, but if he picks up 2 quick fouls in the 1st quarter, it's basically a wrap for the Cavs. Who's guarding Durant then, Korver? :mjlol:

That's the bad part of this year's roster matchup. Durant can at least make it hard for LeFlop 1-1 due to KD's length (no homo). Plus there's Draymond/Iggy etc who can at least make LeFlop work. Cavs don't have that luxury.

Won by 20 with Klay going 3-16. Only 2 warriors scored double digit points too:hhh:

I'm not gonna give the brother too much grief because he's been playing 14 years, but Bron ain't as close to his physical prime as some would have you believe. Golden State had him looking old the last game, I saw some flashes of :flabbynsick: here and there.

Bron can't guard KD anymore, and golden state doesn't have to double when KD is guarding LeBron. This could get ugly unless LeBron has another level left in him
