Kyrie's tryna leave because he knows LeBron is too. nikka Kyrie can't lead a team and realizes the second LeBron is out it's back to the old Cavs days where Irving would lead the team in scoring and they'd win sub-40 games. It don't make no sense. The Spurs are clearly Kwahi's team. The Timberwolves are definitely going to be running things through Towns first and are loaded beyond that. But the Cavs are all Kawhi from June 2018 on. And why not make this request while Griffin was still around doing deals - why wait until now? If Gilbert had already known about this, he would have pulled the trigger on that PG13+Bledsoe deal, right?

I'm not putting anything past a guy who literally believes that the Earth is flat. But the explanation doesn't fit the timing or any logic at all. If he wants his own team, he can wait 11 months and he has it - he wouldn't be asking for a trade to San Antonio or Minnesota.







People are trying to turn it into an L for Bron because the Earth continues to revolve around the Sun.

Remember, people have literally tried to turn the incredible comeback to beat the Spurs, singlehandedly dragging to Cavs to a six-game Finals appearance with Love and Kyrie out, and leading everyone in the Finals in every statistical category while coming back from 3-1 down into "L's" for Lebron. This is the first time that Lebron has had a major teammate ask out in his 14-year career (it took Kobe less than half that time) and he already made clear he's leaving first, but of course they gonna turn it into an L if they can.

I'm sure that's why he waited until six weeks after the season ended, AFTER the GM was fired, after most of the big deals had been made, after it was clear that Lebron wasn't going to stay in Cleveland...in order to say that he wanted to get away?

Kyrie Irving's trade request isn't a betrayal of LeBron James


Even the guys are saying that he doesn't want to play on the same team as Lebron are saying that it's because he wants to be "the man" and the leading scorer with the ball in his hands, not because he doesn't like Lebron. Legit not one person has quoted Kyrie saying anything like that.

You can find posts during last years finals where quite a few Lakers fans like me who was happy for Lebron when the Cavs won.
