LeBron to New Orleans:blessed:

I already spoke to Tom Benson

He willing to sell Bron part of the team and have a proxy owner hold it till he retires:blessed:

and would they keep Boogie? nah, Bron would get laughed out of the league for teaming with two of best bigs in the game

Mario Lemeiux did it in the NHL, not sure if there’s official rules prohibiting it in the NBA though

well, MJ had to sell his share of the Wizards so he could play because that was the rule, but I dont know if things have changed since then. with all the new era guys on the NBAPA I would think they have thought about this. you know their main beef is with the owners anyway. if anyone has to power to make this happen, the players today do.

I think you might be off base here. He's still got at least 5 years left. I kinda doubt that if he leaves it will even be his last stop. Also he can buy into any team willing to sell once he retires not just the team he plays for next year

I guarantee you he wants a piece of Cleveland. He is Ohio's favorite son. Not sure it will happen sooner rather than later but I am sure he wants a piece of the Cavs. My point is I think its more incentive for him to be somewhere that he will eventually have ownership stake in.

It makes sense for him to own the cavs

Born in Cleveland Akron
Be drafted by Cleveland
Win a championship in Cleveland
Win MVP awards in Cleveland
Retire in Cleveland
Own Cleveland

With that said, his future is in San Antonio.

Murray
Green
Leonard
James
Aldridge

Y'all know you wanna see it.

Theoretically let's say he stays in CLE. Does he win a championship next year? Year after? Honestly I don't see a path. Even if they trade that #1 pick...are they gonna be able to put together a team better than GS? Nor does he have time to simply wait for GS to be dismantled (Thompson or someone signing elsewhere). By that time, Boston will be elite. Lakers could be elite assuming they get PG13 and another star.
