Theoretically let's say he stays in CLE. Does he win a championship next year? Year after? Honestly I don't see a path. Even if they trade that #1 pick...are they gonna be able to put together a team better than GS? Nor does he have time to simply wait for GS to be dismantled (Thompson or someone signing elsewhere). By that time, Boston will be elite. Lakers could be elite assuming they get PG13 and another star.

again, I dont think its solely about rings because there is no guarantee he wins one wherever he is. there is a lot of Houston theories out there. :francis:

Boston is good, but I dont think they will dominate the East.

the team Cleveland has now is as close to as good as they will get but they have to get a lil younger and more athletic soon.

yes, should PG13 go to Lakers, then he Bron and their current group could be a threat. and he is buying property there. I thought of him in ownership there but going through the Busses . :patrice:

ultimately I think he would like for things to work out in Cleveland, but they just may not.

Gilbert bytch ass need to sell his stake to Lebron now... we all know Dan own half of downtown Detroit, he put his bid in for the pistons and bounce..

this is what I am getting at. I think its something between Bron and Gilbert that just aint cool. Like I am sure Bron has expressed interest in it to Gilbert but would Dan ever sell his team to this nikka? (pun intended) I really dont think Bron would leave if there was something agreed upon at least in principal as far as his involvement with the team after his playing days.

I’m thinking a condition for Bron coming back to Cleveland was a ownership stake in the team and being that Bron bought a chip to Cleveland Dan got to Cleveland Dan got to come up off that controlling stake

lol @ him owning the Lakers, Dan Gilbert might do it since he wants to own Pistons eventually (but he is not getting that any time soon)

The only team that gives him a chance to legit win a ring next year is Houston if they can get him and keep Chris Paul as well. If he goes to either LA team you can say at this point that winning another title is probably not the first thing on his agenda anymore.
