Some older folks gotta realize you can't have it both ways. nikkas wanna be ignorant, make stupid comments completely unbefitting of someone who's supposed to be experienced, wise and respectable, then turn around and get mad when they get the same disrespect back.

Dudes like Oak, Rodman, SAS, Skip, etc. been clowning the modern game for years but Bron being "disrespectful" for throwing it back in their faces lol. If you want respect, then act respectable. That means not trolling for clicks, not making a bunch of uninformed hot takes, speaking disrespectfully about others unprovoked. That's how an irresponsible young man moves, not a man of standing and influence.
None of these nikkas are 70s NBA players

LeBron just shytted on a bunch of dead or senile nikkas

Passive Aggressive king don’t want no smoke wit the nikkas who really be bullying him

Really? Because I vividly remember him shytting on Barkley, one of his biggest adversaries in the media who also played in the 80s and 90s.

He's a hater. What makes what he says credible? Because he's on TV?
I'm not going to let him disrespect my legacy like that. I'm not the one who threw somebody through a window. I never spit on a kid. I never had unpaid debt in Las Vegas. I never said, 'I'm not a role model.' I never showed up to All-Star Weekend on Sunday because I was in Vegas all weekend partying.
All I've done for my entire career is represent the NBA the right way. Fourteen years, never got in trouble. Respected the game. Print that.
Invited him to pull up and say what he gotta say to his face
LeBron's friendships with other players in the league (namely Wade, Paul, Carmelo) were also called into question. He responded:

Go watch the '93 Finals when John Paxson hit the shot. Barkley and Jordan were laughing and joking with each other during one of the games while somebody's shooting a free throw. In the Finals. But, oh, nobody were friends back then.
Finally, he issued a challenge to Chuck.

And if this makes him want to talk to me, the schedule's out there. He knows every road arena I'll be in. Don't just come up to me at All-Star and shake my hand and smile.
Took a shot at Phil Jackson too.

Bringing up Anthony reminded James of another basketball luminary who has tweaked him this season -- New York Knicks president Phil Jackson -- and he had a story to share about Jackson as well.

"I went to see Melo at the Garden two years ago when we were in New York," James said. "They played Portland. I went up to a suite at halftime, and Phil Jackson didn't say one word to me."

This fall, Jackson brought up James unprompted in an interview with ESPN's Jackie MacMullan and described James and his close circle of business associates -- Rich Paul, Maverick Carter and Randy Mims -- as his "posse."

"I'm here to win ballgames and take care of my teammates and take care of my, what's that word, oh, my 'posse,'" James said, animatedly.
Finished it off with this:
"I collect one paycheck from this," James said of his role with the Cavs. "There's the owner, Griff's [David Griffin] the GM, I'm the player. Screw Charles Barkley."

James put on his baseball cap and offered a parting thought as he prepared to leave the visitors locker room at the American Airlines Center to head to the airport for a flight back to Cleveland.

"I'm tired of biting my tongue," James said. "There's a new sheriff in town."

Tell him stick to that then this shyt was lame as fukk, basketball fans are bigger fans of players than the game itself

If Tom Brady said Mahomes would throw for 700 yards in the 70s, he’d get shat on and rightfully so

LeBron is not an ambassador of the game fr

It must irk LeBron to hear a bum ass nikka like Dennis Rodman say he couldn’t play then :mjlol:

Giannis dropped as is would be the best player in the league in the 70’s. Basically if you made Dr. J—7 feet tall with a better handle and more muscle mass.

the 70s actually had real Centers. Not like today where there are small forwards playing the 5

- Kareem
- Wilt
- Artis Gilmore
- Bob Lanier
- Robert Parish
- Nate Thurmond
- Bill Walton
- Willis Reed
- Dave Cowens
- Moses Malone

And actual Power Forwards

- Elvin Hayes
- Bob McAdoo
- Spencer Haywood
- Connie Hawkins
- Dave Debusschere
- Maurice Lucas
- Jamaal Wilkes
- Bob Love
- Paul Silas

It shows that either Lebron:

1. Has a horrible lack knowledge of NBA history
2. Or is a terrible troll
Them niccas would be blowing out they acl trying to guard giannis off the dribble

Bum ass Dennis Rodman, guy who actually grabbed contested rebounds vs Lestatpad who snatched defensive boards after his teammates box out for him. Have some shame.

His McAfee comments about players just being bigger and faster were probably directed towards Charles too

Rodman is the biggest culprit in modern NBA history when it comes to padding rebound #s. Even Phil Jackson had an issue with it.

A fukking bum that couldn’t even make point blank shots and had to overcompensate with homosexual mind games.

We legit had cats running up in here treating this as if Bron was serious all so they could push their agenda. It amazes me just how much of this board really doesn't like hoops.
Breh is so far up in their heads that they really thought he meant 250 points :mjlol:

If Lebron said "This brisket joint in Dallas is to die for", these fools would come in and say Lebron said he would have people killed for food :wtf:

Giannis 2025 would've dominated in the 70s. But it's always a foul comparison cause there's been 50 years of athletic development, human development, basketball development, nutrition, competitive aspects and on. So while likely very true, it's just pointless to compare athletes with so many years in between them.

When you compare players you gotta adjust for all that.
