MJ highest average was 37 in '87 against the Bad Boy Pistons, Larry's Celtics and Showtime Lakers etc.
Projecting he would average 40 in a weaker defensive era isn't out of the realm of possibility
Giannis highest scoring game was 64
Proclaiming he would score 250 against Wilt n em
is Disney ducktales fantasy
which is par for the course with yall :mjlol:
Is you dumb or is you stupid?

You're proving my point with this post.

You're inadvertently admitting that y'all MJ stans are the ones dog whistling by hating on today's game to protect MJ.

To address your elementary ass argument -

You're speaking as if MJ only played teams during '87 that were of the caliber of the Pistons, Celtics and Lakers, when those games only made up a fraction of the games he played. The average pace in '87 was around 101 possessions per game; for the last five seasons the average pace has only been hovering around 98-99, so right off the bat he'd have fewer possessions to score however more points than you he would today than he did back in '87.

Furthermore, defense during the 80s was trash, in comparison. Anyone that's being objective can see how far defense has come since then.

And don't dilute the number that cats say MJ would average today. The common theme surrounding how many points MJ could average today is 50, not 40.

No different than Allen Iverson saying he would average 43 in today’s league.

Uhh physicality is weaker today than it was in the past. The rules (carry/travel) are more lax today than they were in the past. It makes sense to say offense from the past goes up when in comparison to today than to say offense today goes up when comparing to the past.

Put Giannis in the 70s and he's playing back to the basket type of ball. You know, his weakness :coffee:

the 70s actually had real Centers. Not like today where there are small forwards playing the 5

- Kareem
- Wilt
- Artis Gilmore
- Bob Lanier
- Robert Parish
- Nate Thurmond
- Bill Walton
- Willis Reed
- Dave Cowens
- Moses Malone

And actual Power Forwards

- Elvin Hayes
- Bob McAdoo
- Spencer Haywood
- Connie Hawkins
- Dave Debusschere
- Maurice Lucas
- Jamaal Wilkes
- Bob Love
- Paul Silas

It shows that either Lebron:

1. Has a horrible lack knowledge of NBA history
2. Or is a terrible troll
Why you talking about the 70s when you only started watching hoops in 2012?

When's he doing Club Shay Shay? :sas2:
Shannon was ready to crash out and fight the entire Grizzlies roster in honor of LeBron, and LeBron won’t even give him a Night Cap interview.

Mcafee is a racist and Lebron is up there doing a verbal jig for him and his audience. Stephen A tried to tell yall :mjpls: :sas1:

When fans or Charles Barkley says shyt like this the convo becomes

The greatest player in the last 20 years who’s supposed to be an ambassador for the sport is making coli shyt posts on national TV

The NBA is a sad league, WWE of basketball
