That’s a lie. As I’ve stated, I’ve seen Stephen A put on black journalists with no following, and I’ve seen him put on black podcasts and shows with no following going back over 10 years.

He’s been one of the most accessible black journalists out there. Maybe not so much now that he’s worth a few hundred million, but he’s got a track record. I’ve seen him out and about in the City myself.

SAS is an opportunist and I have made my feelings known about his c00ning. That doesn’t make what he says about Lebron any less true. And it’s not like he just started saying it after they had their run-in; he’s been saying it for years.

Facts

He had first take on Hbcu campuses

All last year

Dumbass nostalgic nikkas in their feelings. Guess what?….. evolution of the game happens

In 30 years some other elite athlete is gonna be in that conversation of “he would dominate that 10’s-20’s era

That’s how sports works

All that is erased when hes on cac media tearing down the Black collective to white audiences.

Zero. He does more damage than helping NABJ members and others. Youre full of shyt.
So Lebron going on a racist podcaster’s show and acting a damn fool is what? Upliftment?

Stephen A has NEVER spoken for the black collective. He’s not even of the lineage to put himself in a position to do so. He’s a West Indian.

If anything the damage he did was during this last election and playing both sides. I would respect that argument more than pretending he’s some black spokesperson. Either way, he’s still not wrong about Lebron.

It ain't no fun when the rabbit got the gun.

It's all fun and games when past players come out and say today's game is soft and how they could average x-amount of points today; nxggas cracking jokes and hee-hawing and shyt, talking about Giannis is just Stromile Swift with a green light. But the moment the shoe's on the other foot, and something is being perceived as disrepectful to the past, then cats wanna get all serious, shaking their morality stick about.
the constant disrespect of players whether past or present has created this shyt.

no one respects one another, hence the clown show we got now. Bron "protecting" his era and we might see more of it until the bullshyt stops. Probably some self serving in it, but that's to be expected.

Clearly you forget the 2010s and his Ferguson protesters are dirt commentary along with tearing down Black families and athletes jabs of that era.

Once again, I need to post Walt’s article because “he did first take at an HBCU” is enough to nourish fools.

In truth, Smith’s main, flimsy credential to wax pseudo-philosophical on how blacks should feel is that he has dark skin. He’s not a clarion voice of any community; rather, he’s a low-rent provocateur. He doesn’t have a Ph.D. in sociology or African-American Studies; he wasn’t a social columnist with years of attending pertinent conferences under his belt; he hasn’t been analyzing data or studying the most current and thorough articles and books on these subjects. He has no bonafides, but he’s allowed to — encouraged to — discuss race and society because he tends to say things that reinforce popular, base notions of black people in general, and black athletes specifically.
No other group has to deal with condescending, contrived spokespeople like this. Can you imagine a cartoonish WASP constantly penning pieces with sloppy historical takes and blanket indictments of “white culture” along these lines:
