Ok obv the post title is just for giggles. But yeah, people are making notice that Zion and Bron didn't dap each other off after the game. Knowing the cameras were all waiting for that moment. And then Bron said Zion so much as had never had a conversation with him, which is in itself unusual because most of the young cats in today's league look up to Bron. For a young kid, it's funny how Zion still credits Bird, Magic, and MJ as his favorites and not Bron or Kobe or the guys who were at their peak when he was growing up.

It's one of those things that isn't a real big deal, but I kind of like it. Zion seems to have that Giannis like attitude in him where he respects all the top guys in the league, but he ain't going out his way to worship them or be buddy buddy with them.

This article says Zion stanned Kobe a bit

The sudden death of NBA all-time great Kobe Bryant was on everyone's mind as the Pelicans tipped off against the Celtics Sunday night. Even for players who never met him.

"At first it was a little difficult," Zion Williamson said. "I couldn’t focus at first."

Zion Williamson never had the chance to meet Kobe Bryant during his young NBA career, but he idolized the Lakers' star guard growing up.

"I had both jerseys 8 and 24 growing up, I studied his footwork game because I respected his," Williamson said. "His footwork was such a big part of his game, allowed him to get to his spots. The fade away … as easy as it looked, as he makes it look, it's one of the hardest things to do."

Bryant was a five time NBA Champion, 18-time NBA All-Star and two-time NBA Finals MVP. Bryant is also the fourth-highest scoring point leader in NBA history.

Or he was a nervous 19 year old dealing with a lost.

It's funny how people have all these judgement of him off 11, 12 games.

Chill, he prolly didn't even realize it. He's 19.

There's only about 20 young players max who anybody knows who they "idolized" growing up.

I know but you would think we would have a list of Bron stans that is almost as well known as the Kobe stans in the current NBA given how much the media promotes him. Especially considering the fact most guys in their early 20s came up during Bron's prime just like those of us in our early 30s came up during Kobe's prime.

Somehow the media has been unable to brainwash young NBA players into idolizing LeBron.
