They're also playing a vastly superior team filled with great defenders. If they ran more post plays for him he might get to the line more, but this cavaliers team is one I think thats built on outside shooting, and doesn't really get to the line much. Him taking and making jumpers would help, but it wouldn't be enough to swing this series. His team isn't good enough to beat golden state. They finished 16 games back in the standings and are outmatched in every matchup on the court and the sidelines.

Anybody with eyes saw what was happening. It's a marked difference what he did after game 4.

His stats the first few games empty stat padding. You're looking in hindsight. But I guess YOU knew all along they'd win 4 straight games against GS.

Again he played great in game 3 when he lead the team in scoring, rebounding and assists. They won by 30. He rested most of the 4Q, he could have easily had another 40 point game. Game 1&2 were feel out games . They were still trying to figure out how to guard the Warriors. Those games were lost on defense. There's no way you should lose to the Warriors when you hold Curry/Klay to under 20 points. Game 4 he deferred to Kyrie too much. He didn't effectively transition from playmaker to offensive weapon. Despite all that he was still playing great defense.
