LeBron is top 3. I'm a huge fan of this brother's game and all his success outside of the game.

The Cavs Warriors 3-1 come back is top 5 sports achievements.

Some of the best news ever was that the Lakers got him - 100%.

Two things can be true at once: he's top 3 and this season's failure is at least 60-70% on LeBron.

Why?
1. He pushed and used his power and influence to get his -let me see if I got this right..- podcast co-host (wtf) to be hired as Head Coach of the Loss Angeles Lakers, without ANY PRIOR coaching experience.
2. He was out here releasing barbie dolls right before the playoffs - you think MJ or Kobe are out here releasing dolls before going to war?
3. I get it: he wanted to play with his son. The push and the forcing of drafting Bronny James did NOT make the team any better. It was a distraction if anything.
But the biggest crime here is the ridiculous JJ Redikk choice. I get that he wants to control the team, but a dude who has never coached and who anyone with even 1% of knowledge about humans can tell is arrogant af (and arrogance usually means insecurity)... as Head Coach of the Lakers?

Bron is top 3. But this hurts his legacy.

His energy in the last game was NOT that of a killer who was out there to win. It felt like he gave in and gave up far before the last whistle.
When Anthony Edwards pushed him around in Game 4 and he didn't blow up because of it... it was a wrap. No way to lead the team and show aggression/will to win.

1. Agree 100%. LeBron can't be coached by a person who will hold him accountable. So he gets a stooge in and when all else fails the stooge can take the blame, because no matter what he'll get his stats which is enough to prevent people from calling him out.

2. Remember when Kobe released those modelling pics where he looked . I believe that was before a playoff series with Utah and of course those fans used it against him, but I know that stuff motivates Kobe, for LeBron he hates anything that isn't unconditional adoration, but maybe he was trying something new?

3. Bronny sucks and is not a NBA level talent. But from what I've seen there wasn't a player down there. He definitely disrespected the game and the process by getting his son in there but with that roster that's the least of their worries.

The Lakers have NEVER not won the 1st round as a 3rd seed or higher, until today.
There's a LOT more wrong than that. And yes: had we had Mark Williams, it could've played out different. But the Lakers are not the Hornets - so yes it could've worked out, or it could've not worked out. Still: JJ Redikk doesn't have the coaching skills to see "Gobert is going nuts.. I need to do something" so you don't just solve that problem by adding players...

The lakers were a 3 seed in 81 when Houston and the great Moses Malone beat them. Remember that series? Magic was ailing and the 1st round was a best of 3 back then
