Older than your dumbass. Are you seriously comparing the 2007 Spurs to the 2014 version?:mjlol:
I guess you're going to forget about Kawhi Leonard?
I see why you're the WOAT.
Troll:camby:

you mean the guy with a career 12ppg average? bruce bowen was a better defender in 07 than kawhi could ever dream to be.

Perhaps I'm still missing the point, but it as seems as though you're playing a game of semantics here. Again I ask you how would the Cavs winning without Kyrie be "asterisk" worthy for them?

If your point is no one should get an asterisk, I agree. I'm asking why would anyone use that Cavs argument in the first place.
There's no game of semantics here. My point is, the levels of hate during this series (whether warranted or unwarranted) directed towards both parties are similar. The very fact that there's even a discussion around the legitimacy of this title run for the Warriors and there isn't for one of the most hated figures on this board - speaks volumes on the hatred/dislike for this Warriors team.

That's basically code for: "I hope you nikkas seeing the stats I'm putting up in each of these games. The losses in this series are the fault of my shytty teammates and not me :whoa:"

Tristan Thompson sitting there looking Kung Lao while getting insulted to his face.

This. And i love Bron like a bruva, but this is a statement that reeks of bytchassness. He's not only buying his own hype but using it to deflect from the fact that he's missing crucial shots especially in 4th quarter crunch time situations. Its a low key throw the rest of these bums I'm playing with under the bus type of statement cuz it's a me statement. You better than that Lebron.

2007 Spurs had a prime Duncan, Ginobli and Parker..gtfoh :heh:

Kobe torched them nikkas damn near everytime he played him, even when he was 22 years old and they had the twin towers.

Timestamp @ 3:42..dude averaged 37 pts on 50% shooting against them that year :whew:

..Meanwhile if it wasn't for Ray Allen, Bron would be 0-3 against them old ass nikkas, while playing with two hall of famers :mjlol:

That's all in true, but last year's Spurs team was better in my opinion. The Big 3 along with Diaw,Splitter, the emergence of Leonard,Mills,Green,Baynes and Belinelli.
Would Kobe be able to be in the that whole team? No. Not even close

Big 3 in their primes>>>Big 3 all over 35...don't care what role players you talkin about, the 2008 spurs had a lot of guys that could spot and shoot too (Finley,Mason,Bonner) and a great defender in Bowen. From 2001-2010 Kobe's skill set was always too much for them, he was a threat from deep..midrange and driving, you couldn't dare him too shoot like they did Lebron.

And yes I'm takin the 2008-10 Lakers over the 2013 Spurs, especially with Artest and a healthy Bynum.

When did I said that 2014 Big three was better?:stopitslime:
Finley,Bonner,Mason and Bowen was nice, but this core is better overall.
Your taking that team with a Bynum and Arrest?:mjlol::russ:
Spurs would win that series in 5.

the only time in nba history that you had the two best players in the nba playing on the same team. kobe ascended to the throne in 2001 and shaq hadn't eaten himself to mediocrity yet.

russ and kd (if healthly) can get close. but kobe and shaq from 2001-03 was about as dominant a duo as there ever were.

co-sign. its laughable that bron stans are trying to elevate the 2013 & 2014 spurs as some juggernauts. the same dudes were around in 2008 when they were younger and more athletic. and kobe went thru their defense like a hot knife through butter.

popovich woulda never dared putting someone like boris diaw on kobe. :childplease: that alone should make this debate laughable.
