I guess you can argue Kobe still... but Lebron has had a head start on Kobe, Kobe didnt even start early in his career. Lebron was much better coming out of HS. If Lebron hasnt caught Kobe's Legacy by now, he will soon. But right now i believe Lebron is better than Kobe ever was.

I'm not trying to redo this debate that has been done tons of times here lol, so I'll just say this: in MY opinion, prime Kobe> current Lebron (which may or may not be his prime) as a basketball player. Can Lebron surpass Kobe? Maybe, but at this point in his career and taking into account all the factors (teammates, opposition, rules etc.) he hasn't yet. In MY opinion.

I dont like the idea of posting multiple times in a pointless stan/hater-filled thread like this, but let's get back to this fact before we shut this thread the fukk down:

A man that is a world class athlete, whether or not he is the best ever, SHOULD want to be the GOAT. Every fan of the sport - regardless of what you feel about the man - should want to see a baller try and surpass the legacy of every player ever. Is that not the ferocious spirit and immaculate legacy of MJ??

Agree 100 %. That's why I was so pissed when Lebron teamed up with who I hoped would be his main opposition in the EC (D-Flop). I'm a Bron-hater but I was glued to those Bos-Cle series because it brought that spririt out of Bron (well, until those last games in 2010).

I don't understand how when Lebron has a better fg%, rebounds/assists/blocks/steals/game with nearly identical ppg. What planet do you live on?

Did y'all forget that Lebron averaged 30-8-7 his best year Cleveland?

In the planet where I've been following Kobe regularly since the early 00s and Bron more/less since he came in the L. By following I mean watching games, I'm not a fan of stats because for example Bron had impressive stats in those famous last games against Boston in 2010 but by watching the games it sure didn't feel that way.

CP3 probably has better stats than Parker, but i'm taking TP every single day with no hesitation, for example.

He will never be the GOAT...he cancelled his hopes for ever becoming that the moment he teamed up with Dwade and Bosh.

Its a wrap & he 'eno it

"I'm not a fan of stats". Is this what has come to kobe stan-ing these days? :wow:

How many of you guys actually watched Jordan play??

damn i feel :flabbynsick:

That being said... IMO Lebron has the chance to be the GOAT, Dude is just GREAT at a lot of aspects of the game while being a mutant physically.....
I know that feeling. There comes a point when you outgrow these online forums.
That's the reason why I don't even bother much discussing basketball with 90s babies here anymore...
Some nikkas here were 5-8 years old when MJ retired as a Bull. :pachaha:

but what trips me out the most is how overrated 90s basketball has become. You would think Steve Smith was top 15 all time, Damn Mark Jackson was backing dudes down full court and shyt...... lol but thats another convo....

Lebron definatly has the chance to be the GOAT...

Breh...what part of "watching the game" don't you get? This is the exact same argument that people gonna be having in a couple years on some "Dwight Howard is a better defender than Olajuwon, he got 3 DPOYs" :beli:

Friend, that analogy doesn't make any sense.

He means he wants to convince those in denial that he is the GOAT. His ceiling has already passed Jordan's and the only reason I'm mentioning Kobe to say he has no place in this discussion and laugh.
