I agree with part of your sentiment. I dont think he would need to drop down to 18ppg necessarily. I would say that a reduction of minutes could lead to better defensive effort and have a widespread affect on the team you are alluding to. In a more ideal scenario with AD playing "normal" that would be the case. however the way the team is constructed now I don't think that would work due to how seemingly inconsistent the other players are.

I'm not sure its realistic to expect year 19 Bron to be locked in defensively. He's still very sharp offensively so its the make up of the roster that is the problem.
