Michael Jordan: 7 Straight Triple-Doubles, averaging 30.6ppg, 11.6rpg, and 11.0apg

From March 25, 1989 to April 6, 1989, Michael Jordan recorded seven consecutive triple-double games. That is the second longest streak of consecutive triple-doubles. Over the seven games, Michael Jordan averaged 30.6 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 11.0 assists per game.

In the eighth game when the streak ended, Michael Jordan had 40 points and 11 assists, but only seven rebounds.

Kobe Bryant: 4 Straight Games Scoring 50+: 65 points, 50 points, 60 points, 50 points, and 43 to end the four straight 50+ game stretch.

Bryant had scored at least 50 points in four games in a row to become the only player in NBA history with such a streak besides the late Wilt Chamberlain.

Kobe Bryant’s 50-point streak ended Sunday night, and he didn’t seem the slightest bit disappointed.

“Off-night,” Bryant said with a smile after scoring 43 points to lead the Los Angeles Lakers.

I don't have a problem with thinking the Jordan stretch comes first, but the Kobe and A.I ones would be only impressive than Lebron's based on volume. It's close.

Wilt doesn't count. He should be first for that matter. Another era and dude was indescribably dominant.

I always knew Jordans had a better run just because hes the GOAT. Nice to see the stats to back it up.

It's a shame people are getting caught up in Lebrons "run" and saying he's > MJ.

Great post:obama:

Jordan had 7 triple doubles in a row fell short of his 8th by 3 rebounds

Then had 3 more in a row for 10 triple doubles out of 11 games.Espn gassin up lebron numbers cuz of the efficiency he's shooting over 60% in all those games
