Yep Wilt was one of his biggest critics. Until he won multiple titles them old players use to stay on his ass and call him selfish on the court.
If social media was available back in the 80s and 90s..MJ whole mystique woulda been much different.

Still 6-0 (as a clear #1 option) in the finals is very hard to deny.

Duncan started to average less when his knees left him

Also the Spurs system changed

Duncan is arguably the greatest defensive player ever and was an elite scorer the first 10 years of his career

3 time FMVP as well

Imagine if he played in the east his whole career :picard:

No doubt TD is that nikka...probably top 7 or 8....i just cant put him over Kobe or Bron when you look at the sustained elite statistical excellence Kobe had, and Bron is having at this moment.

To be fair TD entered the league 4 years older than Kobe and Bron, but still :yeshrug:

Kobe was swept by the same team you facetious mutherfukker :mjlol: Act like that wasn't an excellent Mavs team.

Kobe blew a 3-1 lead to Steve Nash and didn't take a shot in the 2nd half of game 7. Shot 38% from the field against the Pistons while Shaq was averaging 27-11 on 60% shooting. LeBron beat the same Pistons team by himself with Boobie Gibson as his second option :russ:

fukk outta here with your juelzing

Hell why don't you look up Jordans performance in the 1989 eastern conference finals with the series tied 2-2.

Jordan went 4-8 in 46 minutes and was outscored by fukking Craig Hodges :mjlol:

man yall Bron stans are even more insecure about MJ than Kobe stans were

First off, Kobe got swept by the Mavs after 2 titles and 3 finals :mjlol:

Secondly, Kobe didnt play like he was scared against the Mavs neither, we were just burnt out. Bron was mocking Dirk while getting punked by Jason Terry, 3rd best player in a Big 3. 17ppg and you the God King to switched teams and threw a parade before the season:mjlol:

And :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol: @ nikkas always bringing up Kobe vs the Suns like that matters.

BTW, the 2007 Pistons didnt even have Ben Wallace, but ok, it was the same team :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

The saving grace for Bron fans literally is "Bron got farther in the playoffs with bad teammates than Kobe and Bron did!"

Cool breh, yall can have that. Bron is really really good at dominating the east with bad teammates. Kobe and MJ are really really good at having winning records in the Finals. MJ was really really good at having double the rings as Bron

:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

a lot of these kobe stans that's are mad at bron stans over this thread, are the same ones that were celebrating when stack said kobe was better than LeBron.

anyway, yea he flip-flops.

I don't understand why people put stock in these players' "opinions".

Jordan is the GOAT, people just suffer from recency bias and want to see a player from their generation to be the best.

oh the irony.

you think Jordan would be paraded around as the goat, if older people had more say in modern media?

you think Jordan is the goat to people who were around before david stern??

The media have always had the desperate need to compare almost every perimiter superstar player to Jordan and it's pathetic and boring

When Grant Hill came on the scene, he was the "new Jordan", then the argument moved unto Kobe as "MJ succesor" then unto Vince carter when he was tearing it up in Toronto then back to MJ vs Kobe "who's better" and then it was Lebron vs MJ which lasted from when Kobe started to decline to when Curry became a superstar and now it's back Lebron again.

Don't fall for the okie dokie, they do this with damn near every superstar that plays on the perimeter. What else are they gonna talk and have stupid debates about.

The next perimeter superstar after Lebron will get the same comparison and the next one after that

LeBron is gonna finish his career #1 in points and top 3 in assists.

Clearly a bit different than those guys

Jordan is the GOAT, people just suffer from recency bias and want to see a player from their generation to be the best. LeBron is #2 no shame in that. When people rank you over Kareem, Magic, Bird, Hakeem, Russell and others then you know you had a fantastic career
LeBron is like 15 years in and is dominating the NBA with no signs of slowing down. Look at the other cats that were drafted with him and many of them are retiring, retired, should retire, or are out of the league a long time ago.

Jordan played 15 seasons total. Including his multiple retirements and comebacks. LeBron has never had a season where he didn't play at least 75% of the total games of the year. In 15 years. Made the Playoffs 12 straight seasons NBA finals 7 straight. Thing is LeBron was rarely on the NBA's best team like Jordan was. He almost never had a coach like Phil Jackson either. Jordan just had more tools to win than LeBron had most of his career.

At this point in his career LeBron has played in 71 more regular season games than Jordan and 38 more playoff games. LeBron when all is said and done will be the greater individual player. Jordan of course will have home rings.

Nothing that you said supports Lebron being a better individual player than mike.

nah...he is the lay up king though.

Ive never seen anyone make better lay ups than lebron

Admit you never watched Michael Jordan if you say that

Michael Jordan was the best skilled closer under duress in league history by actual text book, then stylistically based on innovation and advancement. Michael made moves textbook. Lebron does not...especially when laying the ball up.
