Actually his footwork is the worst part of his game imo. He travels ALOT. That doesn't negate him being an all time great because he is. His footwork, jumper, and post game should be lot better than what they are right now tho
That's exactly how i see it. Hes done it his way but to say he actually has a jumper he can rely on like say Karl Malone :francis: or that he can score at will in the post :francis: even brehs free throws are so inconsistent it's crazy.
Lebrons passing literally will have you like :ohhh: he make some of the best most accurate passes. But I'm not going to act like I haven't seen breh call for screens for almost a decade now or have a smaller defender and on him and pull up from three :francis:

Breh seemed like he was actually working on his jumper in Miami and footwork in Miami after they lost to Dallas. If he would have kept that up his shyt would be automatic in the post.

Lebron's footwork is actually amazing on a very fundamental level. He's great at doing little things consistently that people like you and even other players take for granted.

People only look at highlight reels and fanciest without realizing its consistently doing little things is what has made Lebron to be a consistently amazing scorer his entire career. People see a lot of the amazing finishes, layups, and touch he uses on a such a consistent basis that people don't realize how hard it is to do those things consistently. He makes stuff look very easy.

Well said and agree with everything you said. Also folks don't realize that this version of Lebron isn't the one in Miami.

One his 3 shot isn't the same IMO because he has a lot of miles on him and has a bad back. You can look at any cavs game and see his lift isn't there on a consistent basis from 3. (But inside that 3 line his jumper is extremely consistent). He also uses the foam back piece when sitting down on the bench for his bad back.

Another thing because of the countless trips to the finals Lebron is smart enough to pace himself during the regular season (like all the greats do when getting older). You won't see the consistent jumper, post up game and chase down blocks until the playoffs. He did it just this past playoffs so I don't know why folks are shocked by this.

People constantly want to pick at this man's game after he has proven time and time again he can do whatever is on their list that they say he can't do.

These folks bytching about his game remind me of the philly fans that use to bytch about McNabb. They would say he can't win playoff games, or throw clutch TDs or bring teams back. Then when he did that shyt jokers would say well he doesn't throw the football like Peyton or Brady. Then someone would say yeah he isn't peyton or Brady. But they aren't asked to do what McNabb is asked to do (play with below avg WRs, be a part of the running game, be a third down short yardage back and etc).

Same here with Lebron. Folks saying his game isn't pretty like some other player. Well such and such player ain't 6-9 260 and isn't expected to be a PG, play PF and SF. Be the best defensive player on the team, defend the paint like a big, score the most points on the team and etc.

Lebron is the best forward of all-time, but skipping college gave him advantage in this department over other great players.
You're missing the part where you have to born with an advantage in order to be good enough to skip college.

The guy is blessed....period.

Damn his footwork horrendous. I fukk with Bron but enough is enough. Work on that jumper, fade and footwork. :scust:

I might be expecting too much from breh but I swear this dude was actually getting a nice fade away /post game in Miami. Bro seems like he just is on some lazy shyt because he can do so many things athletically on the court.

lebron can do/does all of that

I think it is pretty impressive that his scoring never fell off from playing with Wade/Bosh and Love/Kyrie :ehh:

Only reason it dropped was because he didn't have to play 40 minutes a game. Shyt, he's on pace to have maybe his best year yet and he could still do it without keeping this pace up.

Thank you homie for posting this. When it comes to Lebron. Folks see what they want to see.

We just saw his full array of post moves...shooting ability and defensive ability on last year's championship run.

Yet even still folks out here acting like this dude got the skill of Greg Ostertag.

Dude like at basically 10 assit per game...10 freaking assist a game.:whoo:

Dude finally in an offense where he has a depth of finishers and shooters and has an up tempo offense.

The heat had uptempo, shooters and finishers (with Lebron, Wade, bosh, Allen, battier and Chalmers. But they didn't have the depth that this Cavs team has.

Plus Lebron doesn't have to rebound like he did with the heat. He can conserve a lot of energy.

Yep, he's still having his best year rebounding wise already too. I expect that to fall off a little as the season goes on though.

Right now his points per 36 has fallen by about 2.5ppg and his assists per 36 have gone up almost 3 apg, not a bad trade off. This is probably going to keep him in the league a few extra years too playing like this

Edit: And he's doing this with the lowest usage % of his career so far. Even less than his rookie season right now.

Lebron is the best forward of all-time, but skipping college gave him advantage in this department over other great players.

And they had the advantage (except Kobe and Dirk) of racking up points in eras where there were 20% more possessions in every single game. That's a bigger advantage overall than 3 extra years when you're only a teenager.
