Yeah, shooting has never really been a strong point in his game.

There were a couple years in Miami where he became extremely judicious with how and when he would take jumpers and had skewed statistics because of it, but he never really developed a consistent jumper.


At the end of the day, he gets to the paint almost whenever he wants, though. And his teams are always stacked with shooters to do that part for him.

He's shooting 37% from three this year on 5 attempts a game, that is above the league average.

The 7 year stretch you used, he shot 36% from three which is above the league average. You however want him to take long twos for some arbitrary reason, stop him from getting layups and dunks, and he'll shoot the three at a HIGHER than average rate.
