Do you know what the money is like in Russia for women's professionals versus in the US?

Not to mention: in various leagues across the world (across many different sports), there is a cap on how many foreign nationals may play for a club.

If you're a fringe WNBA/international star player, it's in your financial interest to nationalize. That way a team can sign you AND other bigger name WNBA players, instead of having to decide between them and you.
