it's just crazy to think of that. i mean i grew up in that era and i still think of early 80s shyt as "old school" so when people say so & so is old school and it's like 95 or something is just strange

the difference is in 97 i was about 15. it's just strange to think of the time i grew up in as old school. i remember the first 10 years of say Doggystyle (93 - 2003), it seemed to take long as fukk but all of a sudden (in my perspective) it's 25, almost 30 YEARS since Doggystyle dropped. the first 10 seemed to take ages because it's a long time between 11 and 21 but it doesn't seem so long between 21 & 31 and i'm pushing closer to 40.
I bought this on tape when it first dropped, would listen on my way to school.
