nikka I actually like LeBron alot (as a person). I just don't like his game. I don't like Kobe as a person but he is my favorite player right now because of his game. I know he can't play forever. I actually want LeBron to become more like Kobe on the court so I can root for him. But his game just lacks the finesse and skill of Kobe. Its all bulldozer athleticism. Same reason I don't like Blake Griffin as a player.

I'm actually at a sad point right now as an NBA fan. I can see Kobe's reign coming to an end and not anyone who I can actually see being able to keep my interest the same. I went from Jordan to Kobe because of how he played. Hopefully someone emerges to come after Kobe like Kobe did MJ.

Derrick Rose is that player for me. Russell Westbrook is inching up there too.

Lebron's post game is still being refined but he's arguably as dangerous as Kobe is in the post simply because his vision and passing is so elite. Lebron was absolutely destroying Paul George, Jimmy Butler, and Kawhi in the post and it's impossible to throw a hard double at him because he's such a good passer.

Lebron chooses efficiency and smart shots over flash. Kobe will hit a turnaround fadeaway jumper but that isn't a smart or efficient shot. Lebron will always choose to make the best possible play.

26/7/6 on 11/19 shooting against the Nets tonight. If I didn't watch this game and just saw the box score I woulda thought LeBron had a great game.

Watching him play is another story. This had to be the wackest 26 points I've ever seen. Every basket other than that last desperation 3 was a layup or dunk. And most of them were not spectacular layups or dunks created from beating his man one on one on some incredible move. They were either off broken plays or in transition. He almost gets his points like a role player.

I think this is the main reason alot of LeBron's peers (players, coaches, GMs) don't respect him as much as Kobe. They don't just look at box scores the night later, most of the time they either watch the games or are studying tape. If you watch or play against LeBron you don't notice that he's filled that stat sheet. Only those fantasy football nerds that don't watch any games and only box scores are the only ones impressed by his game. What you notice is a guy that still lacks a jumpshot and is living off his unprecedented physical gifts.

remember what happened when AI lost his quickness and first step..... he went from averaging 26ppg to being outta the league.......LeBron will look like that.....he might not be outta the league but he will drop quickly from dominant superstar level player to rather ordinary once he loses his runaway locomotive speed and superhuman leaping ability

his game will not age like Kobe and MJ.....Kobe at 34 puts up 27ppg while in 2001 at 22 he put up 29ppg......LeBron will not be averaging 27ppg at 34
