It's always great to see the Elder's son get praise and hype when they are in their prepubescent stage, playing for fun no worries. The problem comes when they are asked to do more when the stakes get higher coaches and fans put pressure on'em and most flame out in high school or become role players in college. Curry and Thompson are a rare breed, and they went to small universities.
