So the Bulls selected D. Rose at number 1 overall because they didn't expect him to become a superstar? Nobody expected him coming out of college or even HS to become a superstar? He just came out of nowhere?
Amare and Deron themselves are both looking

now. Let's not act like Deron wasn't considered at top 3 pg at the time. How many big men at the time were put over Amare? Regardless of where you wanna rank them there is no denying that they were considered superstar players at the time.
Beyond all that, it's not like facts and consistency played into what was said about Wade at that time. Wade wasn't even thought of as being on the level that he was put on when Bron went there.

The debate for years had been who is the best Bron or Kobe. Suddenly Bron teams with Wade and "He's not even the best player on his own team." "He's Robin".
The fact is people hated on Bron out of fear, out of anger, and out of jealousy. The media hated because they saw where the ratings/buys were. To keep trotting out the long disproven and totally baseless and inconsistent ass reasons to justify the hate is just silly.
