does he REALLY think NBA owners are that much different....they snatched a team from a stone cold racist who would go in the locker room to show off half nude men to his guests

you can say the NBA is the same and i wouldn't disagree with you, but forget about your whataboutisms...

where is the lie?

the difference to me is a lot of cacs hate the NBA, but they love their footballs while being simultaneously racist. that probably makes lebron feel like it's less of a plantation mentality at least.

Naw it doesn’t, especially when lebron is on track to becoming an owner
within the next 25 years the NBA will likely have multiple new black owners, could you imagine that happening in the NFL? Can you see a black football player becoming an owner
Who fukking cares:gucci:

Until we start addressing the evils of American capitalism it doesn't matter who owns a damn team. All these owners are disgusting oligarchs who have way too much power.

I get what Bron is saying but it's really naive to be honest.

He went back to play for Dan Gilbert who didn’t take that disrespectful letter down until the day before he signed.

Besides...somebody up some footage of an NBA player kneeling during anthem. Show us how open-minded the NBA is :sas1:
good point, fukkin clippers thought they were doing smthg by turning jerseys inside out, I wouldnt have played foh

Won’t matter. Basketball is a global sport and there are plenty of other leagues if players need money.

-In China the average player now makes a million dollars

-In the EuroLeague Alexey Shved is making 4,000,000 dollars right ( with food and housing) a NBA named player would easily cake in the EuroLeague.

-Sneaker endorsements ( Every NBA player has one and they start at 200,000 annually as of 2017)

Nba players have so many ways to make money outside of the NBA.

Where you here that from?

Lebron’s only obstacle is funding, if he can put together an ownership group in the future and there is an opening why would they freeze him out? the NBA is a business, the highest bidder wins, simple. The cavs are a garbage franchise and Dan Gilbert doesn’t know how to run a team. So don’t be surprised if he ends up selling the team and lebron becomes a front runner to buy it

The first statement is only partly true only because he has made the NBA billions but the second part couldn't be further from the truth because wealthy men like Mark Cuban and Donald Trump have outbid other buyers for sports teams and were still rejected because they were seen as wildcards . I hope these comments don't come back to bite Lebron later down the line.

First and most importantly of all... the NFLPA is weak as fukk and can’t leverage their way into any fair agreements.

But lowkey he’s right. The nba is more liberating, but they also had their fair share of owners wilding (clippers & hawks). shyt even the Cavs owner had a “slave mentality” the first time lebron left for Miami
