Superteam = multiple (current) franchise players on the same squad.. players that would otherwise be the best players on other teams concentrated in one spot ... Both the heatles and the current cavs are OBVIOUS fukking examples, IMO even moreso than the pre-kd warriors (both Klay and Draymond are supplementary pieces... Before kd jumped onboard they were just an absolutely perfectly put together traditionally built team)

LeBron just casually and retroactively playing with reality and his dikksuckers entertaining it for absolutely no reason other than frame him losing in a better light is plainly shameful... It really is

Nah I'm at work and a bron Stan I know told me wade wasn't arguably a top five player in 2010-11 and claims bosh wasn't good the year before bron got here

Keep in mind all three averaged at least 24 and 7 boards lol
niggggggggggggaaaaa wade avg 27 6 6 that year and destroyed the celtics in the playoffs that year he dropped 51 and he played better against them than kobe and lebron that year.

superteams are an matter of opinion and fit. the Cheat never fit therefore they never reached their maximum potential. imo superteams are above and beyond all teams in the league so that'll be

96 bulls
01 lakers
16 warriors
17 warriors
07 Celtics
84 lakers

that's it imo.
2013 Heat won 27 games in a row and had 3 stars in their prime, no way you can leave them off

What in the absolute unimaginable fukk does this mean?

They won 27 Straight games. Lost 2 playoff series in 4 years.

They DOMINATED the NBA breh.

A couple of those years it was a foregone conclusion that the Heat would win the title. When the Spurs won game 1 in 2013 it was a collective shock to the sports world.

The Heat were the second best team of this Era. I would go as far as to say the 2013 team beats the '15 AND '16 Warriors.

They played the best press defense I've ever seen. They went up against teams with solid big men who should've destroyed them inside and just ran them off the court.

For a team with such a massive defensive disadvantage in the middle to rule the league like that was Bulls-esque.

karl malone got injury-ed for most of the year and gary payton missed the most games in his career up to this point................ nikkas don't know their history at all.

Don't matter the injury status I'm talking about the roster and what's on paper... did they not make it to the finals?

BAY AREAAAAAAA!!!!
Miami was a super team

Cavs are not a damn super team

12-1 in the playoffs before they ran into the Warriors, have only lost 2 playoff series in the last 3 years, consist of 3 legitimate all stars (one being one of the greatest players of all time) :jbhmm:

:what:nikka how aren't they a super team?

Heatles Bron? Nah. That was the best he ever was. He was possesed.

They would be a nightmare for us (pre- KD). They'd trap Steph every time down and a turnover against that team was two points automatically.

Chis Bosh was incredible in PnR defense. And outside of maybe... Mike Miller for 6 mins a game?...there was no one to pick on like Kevin Love or Kyrie. They all played their asses off on defense. They could actually match the Warriors pace and play right there with us.

I think the definition of super team has gotten skewed. I think people are forgetting the words "putting together" a super team when discussing this. Every time I think of Super Team, I think of multiple players coming together on one team. GS is the rare exception of just being a good team that added one player. There was nothing calculated and put together in Golden State. They took a flyer on Steph and his bad ankles, Klay, and Draymond (neither of which were seen as stars coming outta college). I remember Mark Jackson saying Klay and Steph was the best shooting duo ever and people laughed at him. Fast forward 3 years, and people act like GS purposely put together the best team ever. Those players became great and blaming an organization as if they're tilting the balance of the league with a super team is kinda disingenuous. What's stopping Wall, Beal, and Porter from becoming what Golden State is? Will people get their panties in a bunch if Minnesota blossom into this? This GS team did nothing but have a "big free agent signing". There has been numerous "big free agent signings" in NBA history. Cats are just being soft and won't put the work in to get on their level.
